Best casino in Reno Daniel Whitney (cage supervisor) and Ajay (slot manager?) were the best. They were fun to interact with and made the visit that much more fun. They were kind and funny and made sure we were having a great experience. Love the choices of slots here and restaurants. So much to do without leaving the casino.

Horrible Check-in Experience It all starts with the worst front entry doors I have ever encountered. The doors are heavy and the winds push them shut. I was crushed in the door and could barely open it. The there was a long line to check in. The kind of line that snakes around like at a Disneyland ride. And it was hot! People were sweating in that line for over 30 minutes. I would think a big casino could afford to replace those doors and hire some check-in clerks.

Security needs to be at elevators 24x7 I’m a casino advisor so take this advice seriously. You’ve got tweakers and homeless staying in your hotel. Usually it’s about 6 per room doing drugs and who knows what else in their room. When they’re not in the room they are downstairs searching machines for change left behind and begging for money. The way they get a room is one usually has a comp offer. They have someone else use their credit card as of course homeless people don’t have credit cards. Then they get the keys and invite all their tweaker and homeless buddies in the room for a fee. Usually drugs. There is a simple solution to this, only allow guests listed on the room in the actual rooms. Put security at your elevators and require room keys. These people stand out like a sore thumb and are bad for business.

Awful old and crowded with awful service This is an old, cheap and crowded hotel with exceptionally poor service. They’ve replaced the front desk workers with non-functional kiosks. There is a long wait for the elevators. The room doors sound like they’re opening whenever someone walks by. The food is mediocre at best. And there are pool concerts that play into the night making sleep impossible. The hotel deserves two stars at most. Do NOT stay here.

Claudia at Chickies and Pete’s is a queen I stay here all the time and every time I come I eat with Claudia at chickie and Petes. I brought all my family to meet her. She’s my very favorite girl. She’s serving me as we speak. She’s the one that turned me onto the hot lobster roll. I love you, Claudia.
