Good price for Boston but let down by shuttle issues. Good price for Boston. We stayed here on a family holiday and city centre hotels were out of budget. Clean comfortable rooms. Decent pool and fitness centre. Free breakfast with lots of options. Close to the blue line to get into town. There is a shuttle to the train station which was fine to get dropped off but we had issues getting back as it was full with airport pickups. We had over an hour wait one night and the following had to stand as no seats. Nothing within short walking distance of hotel (mall on other side of highway but can't cross it). If not for the shuttle I would have said four stars for the price.

Not the best Hampton Inn Dirty hotel. I spent the night in order to catch a flight the next morning. When you arrive, go to the parking lot on the right, get a ticket from the machine, park in the gated lot and take the ticket with you when you check in. They charge $20 to park your car for the night, plus a $50 deposit, plus hotel rate and taxes. I was there less than 12 hours and my bill was $343. The room floors were dirty (tile and carpet). The AC wasn't working very well (room 724), front desk staff seemed abrupt and not courteous, but that is the trend when you travel up north.

Unauthorized use of our car during the 2 weeks we paid for parking at hotel. We used the Hotel to park our car for a 2-week vacation at a cost of $231.49. The car had a full full tank of gas when we left it on 7/7/24, and we have the receipt to prove the time and amount of gas put into our car. When our car was picked up 7/22/24, the gas tank was almost empty showing at least 350 miles of unauthorized use of our car recorded. We had to again fill up the gas tank on a car that should have remained basically stationery for two weeks. This unauthorized use of our car is a criminal act as the car was used without our permission; it may have been moved to another lot, but this did not involve driving the car for at least 350 miles. Also, the car had been recently serviced, yet the engine area under the hood was covered with large amounts of dust, so we have no idea where our car might have been used. We entrusted Hampton Inn with our car keys with the expectation that our car would be securitely protected. Very disappointed and concerned, and would never feel safe in using Hampton Logan Boston River in the future.

Poor value, needs to be cleaned better and needs renovations Hampton is supposed to be a nicer brand of hotels, but this one fell pretty short of the mark. We stayed here for one night for a flight layover. It was close and convenient to the airport and the airport shuttle was appreciated. However, overall the cleanliness of this hotel was not as expected for a Hampton. For a hotel charging nearly $300/night, we were pretty disgusted by the old, mildew smell in the room and the obvious renovations needed. Of particular note was the damp stickiness of the carpet. We wore shoes in our room because we were just not sure why the carpet had such an unwelcome texture. We will not stay here again.

Yucky hotel!! The air conditioning in the restaurant are was broke, the room smelled, had cigarette burn mark on the night stand when it was supposed to be a smoke free room, the mattress was uncomfortable, pillows were lumpy, customer service were rude, the pool was was cloudy and freezing cold, the hot tub was broken and did not find out until we went to the pool room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
