Overall a good experience with a couple issues w/ staff & other patrons I wanted to give the hotel 5 stars but there was one staff person running the bar / food that held me back. When we went to order food at 8:50 PM (we were told we could order up to 10 PM), Sheree clearly did not want to prepare the food. She came across very "put out" that we even asked to order food. Not sure if this is standard at this location or not but we had other patrons who were belligerent in their behavior outside our room from midnight - 1:30AM. They sounded like they had just come from the bars. The front desk person, Ivy, kindly asked them to settle down due to the quiet hours (after I called to let her know) but one person said back to her "we paid the same money as everyone else". I considered calling Ivy again when they did not settle down but didnt want to put her in a compromising position b/c the lady and her friends had no interest in adhering to the quiet hours when they allowed their hotel room slam shut a minimum of 10 times between midnight - 1:30AM.

Horrible getaway experience Had a horrible experience. Sheets were unchanged and smelled like mixed of old wet laundry and someone's armpit plus some weird perfume smells. Has to ask the room service to change entire bad sheets and comforter. Bathroom shower head is off centered somewhere. Shower room corners are badly molded and masked with very bad caulking job.

Hyatt House is a very nice place to stay. This was my 2nd time staying at Hyatt House. It was a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and smelled nice. I used the online check in, it was very simple to use. Next time I visit Richmond, I will stay here again. I also like that it is close to shops and restaurants.

Birthday weekend The best night sleep in a hotel in a long time and the room had everything we needed. We stayed here back in March for my birthday. My husband wanted that same experience. Hyatt delivered again. Looking to the next visit. I plan to invite my girlfriend up for a visit soon.

Never again. The bathroom was filthy, with moldy and dirty caulking, the dishwasher was dirty, the walls and ceiling in the main area had peeling and bubbling paint. This was a very unpleasant overall stay. Hyatt please work on the rooms at this property.
