Not the best experience Overall the hotel was not the best. The bathroom was so small that I literally had to stand behind the toilet in order to close the bathroom door. The shower looked as if it had never been bleached clean. I had to purchase shower shoes because I was afraid of what I might catch! We spent way too much time trying to get the TV to work. We ended up having to reset it to make it work. The breakfast experience was the worst. They only had one person working. So, the counters, tables and floor remained dirty. At one point I asked for a towel and broom so that we could have a clean place to sit. When I complained to the front desk, they apologized but made no attempt to fix the situation. You have to ask for housekeeping services which no one mentions when you register. We also were charged $800 to use the meeting room for 1 day! Ridiculous! However, the front desk employees were very nice.

My experience was horrible. My job booked and paid for my room for 3 nights. When I arrived and checked in, I was informed I had to put a card on file for incidentals. The next day, the hotel charged my bank $235.00. I called and the problem was resolved; however, I was informed that the money would be put back in my account 7-10 business days. I called my bank and was informed if the hotel manager email them, they would release the money back to my account the same day. I called back to the hotel and was informed Anna was the manager, I gave the staff person my banks information and was informed Anna was on top of her game and would get this taking care of that morning. I requested a follow-up telephone call once this matter was corrected. I never got a call, so when I returned to the hotel, Anna was gone. This morning I checked out and asked had Anna made it to work and was told she would be in today. Around 6:30 pm today I checked my account and the hotel charged me $125.00, now this is after I’ve checked out. I called and basically was given the run around and was told to call Anna or Mark in the morning at 10:00 a.m. At this point I’m furious. I was informed by my job that the hotel should not have asked for my card in the first place, since my job “Directly Paid” for my stay. Why should I have to call the manager to fix a problem that clearly the hotel made? Why should I wait 7-10 business days for money to go back into my account, that should not have been taken out in the first place. If my bank has told the hotel to email them I order to release the money “now,” why Anna didn’t send the email on Tuesday. Lastly, why was I charged $125.00 at 6:30 p.m. after I’d already checked out. These are questions that I need answers too. Upon checking in I was told the pool was heat, when I attempted to get in, it was cold. The breakfast was horrible, room floors were dirty, furniture dusty, and the couch was stained. I put there towels on the couch as a protective measure. It was very hard to maneuver in the bathroom, in order to get in the shower I had to close the bathroom door. I could not preheat the shower, because you would get soak and wet. This morning I woke up and a spider was in the bathroom. Hyatt Place please stop charging my card. I shouldn’t have to cancel and order a new one because of y’all mistake. I asked my bank and I can’t lock my card.

Not great! Paid for family members to stay here last year. They said it was good. Then after we booked this year, they said they were being polite and we should’ve stayed elsewhere Positive: front desk staff and breakfast. Negatives: crickets in room. One in shower when I disinfected and they chirped all night. Tear on the fitted sheet on the side of the mattress. I’m sure the maid saw it—couldn’t be missed. I put another sheet over it. Grime in light switch crevasses. Mini fridge kept falling off ledge when we tried to open. Disappointment. Would not recommend

Hyatt Brand was ruined The worst Hyatt I have ever stayed. As it’s the only Hyatt brand hotel in the area, I had no other choice. The shower drain was clogged, shower wall and floor were sticky. Water pressure was so low that the water couldn’t even splash further out. Found a couple little bugs/fleas on the table that I ended up buying a can of Lysol to spray the room every day before I left the room. The hotel needs renovation. Staffs including front desks and kitchen have never smiled. Seems they are not happy working there at all. Breakfast was terrible. The utensils and plates were not cleaned. I used my own paper plates and plastic utensils instead.

ChatGPT Disappointing Breakfast and Service - but great room! My recent stay at the Hyatt was a mix of highs and lows, but unfortunately, the lows outweighed the highs by a significant margin. Let's start with the positives: the room itself was clean and met the expectations one typically has for a Hyatt property. The maintenance staff, surprisingly, were the shining stars of my experience. They were incredibly friendly and made me feel genuinely welcome, even though I didn't require their services. In fact, they stepped in to assist when I found myself awkwardly starting the check-in process alone, unnoticed by the front desk staff. Which brings me to the disappointments. The breakfast, touted as part of the Hyatt experience, fell far short of expectations. By 8:15 am, most of the selections were depleted, leaving only a sparse offering of three pieces of wheat toast, eggs, and dry sausage. The cereal was available, but only with oat milk—regular milk was apparently unavailable, as were basic utensils like forks. I had no choice but to eat my breakfast of eggs and sausage with a spoon, a subpar experience to say the least. To add to the frustration, when I politely asked for regular milk or even a fork, I was informed that neither were on hand. This lack of basic amenities and breakfast options felt completely out of place for a Hyatt establishment. In summary, while the room itself lived up to Hyatt's reputation for cleanliness and comfort, the breakfast offering and the service at the front desk were disappointing. For a brand that prides itself on luxury and customer service, this experience fell short of the mark. If Hyatt hopes to maintain its reputation, improvements in both breakfast quality and customer service are urgently needed.
