Holiday Inn Express & Suites Roanoke Rapids SE, an IHG Hotel

Good We stayed here for our anniversary on our way home from FL. Didn't him recognize it or do anything for us. Staff was ok. Floors were wet in our room when we checked in & no garbage can in bathroom. Room was clean and very quiet. Would stay here again just hope they do something for our anniversary.

A nice clean hotel with friendly staff Stopped on our travels North from Florida. We had an excellent stay. Wonderful staff. We had an issue with a chair in our room which was promptly addressed. Everyone very pleasant, clean rooms and a convenient breakfast on our way out the next day. Would recommend you stop here during your travels.

Never stay at this hotel Michelle Austin the general manager has no compassion or heart. Because of this woman I will NEVER stay at a Holiday Inn property. My family was driving home from a family vacation in Florida with our daughter who has health issues. We precooked through a third party company a Holiday Inn in Roanoke Rapids anticipating we would make that distance on our first day travelling home. As travel happens we came across a few accidents and with traffic this put us behind. Our daughter started feeling unwell and with her health issues we had to make many stops. We knew we would not get into Roanoke until 1 or 2 am. We called the booking company and requested to switch our location to Fayetteville North Carolina. They said that would not be a problem but they needed the approval from the hotel in Roanoke. Michelle Austin denied our request. My husband called the hotel directly and spoke with Tiffany who told us this decision was up to the GM Michelle Austin who was not working but she would call her and explain our situation. Tiffany finally called us back and told us that Michelle would not help us. As we still had another 12 hour drive the next day and a sick child which we had to take to a hospital I was completely disgusted with this woman’s lack of compassion. The front desk staff and third party company showed my family and I more compassion. This is unfortunate because we have trusted this hotel chain for many many years. Not anymore

Best hotel I have ever stayed at!!!! Literally the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! Most comfy beds! Delicious breakfast in the morning! And the staff were awesome! Very pleasant place!!!! I would have to say that I will always make sure I stay at this hotel every single time. I’m on my way down to Florida!

Good place to stay near I95 This is the 3rd year we stayed here on our way to Florida. It is convenient to I95, but not on the highway. Rooms/beds are clean and comfortable. There are enough choices for dinner near by. Breakfast was plentiful and was continually being cleaned and replenished.
