Still the perfect hotel Kind staff, clean rooms, great breakfasts, and super public transportation. Who could ask for anything more? I always found the staff at this hotel to be especially kind and cheerful. The room was sparkling clean and spacious. We ate breakfast here daily, sometimes the buffet and other times off the menu. Breakfasts were always delicious. The hotel is across the Twin Brook Metro Station that provides transportation to Reagan National Airport, which we used. We also took Metro to sites in the District.

Awful, old property, GM has nasty attitude UPDATED (Again)! Since posting my review below, yesterday RETALIATION and outright lies have ensued, David, the GM (claims he’s the owner), denied me a room cleaning, leaving me with over flowing trash and no towels (filing a complaint with Heath Dpt. on Monday) when I called to complain about this, he told me that I had to leave the hotel! This guy has mental issues in my opinion...DO NOT subject your family to this type of erratic behavior, I have since checked into a different property in the area...lawsuit pending! AS WELL, LET’S keep it REAL!I WAS THE ONE who requested the police to be dispatched as he and his staff were rude and threatening to me and I did not want to have any physical altercations with them on the way out. For that same reason, I also filed a claim with the Maryland Attorney General's Office - Case# MU-511032. This is a matter of public record now, so anyone reading this can read it and see the truth. ORIGINAL REVIEW that brought out all of above retaliation, law suit, and pending case with the Attorney General’s Office: Entire floor stinks like paint as they as they painting the elevators. GM David only offered to move my room, packing up everything (here for five days) and then unpacking it all...no thanks!!! I'm even a Diamond member. I am DONE with ALL Hiltons after this.

Time To Refresh Sleeping Rooms I have stayed at this Hilton property several times since 2019. The rooms are kept clean. Carpets and furnishings are getting worn. The mattress is a little lumpy. It's time for the sleeping rooms at this property to be refreshed. Condition is below Hilton's normally high standards.

Just don't. Go to the Marriott down the road. Or the Embassy Suites. Literally Anywhere else... TLDR: AMAZINGLY TERRIBLE HOTEL WITH HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, BAD ROOMS AND CUSTOMER GOUGING Terrible, terrible hotel. FIrst off, I booked using points and status since I regularly stay at HIlton affiliated properties for work. So I booked two rooms for me and my family. That must've upset the hotel staff because they were trying to gouge me out. $25 per person for an extremely sub-par breakfast buffet...no credit/acomodation for Dialimond and gold members in terms of complimentary breakfasts etc. Then, they have NO parking unless its $25. AGain with the random charges that should be part of the overall room pricing. And what's more, they charged me randomly for it despite me not using it. Since I had two rooms, they put in two charges of $25, assuming I had two cars. What level of incompetence is this? And the worst of all, one of my family members arrived at 11:30 am and they refused to let her get the room at any point till I arrived because her name wasn't on it. Ok, no worries, I said I'd call the hilton portal and add her name to the reservation. No way this should be hard. But no....after 45 minutes on the phone with the support, they finally said 'ah no you gotta call the property itself and they can do it...should be no problem'. Called the property and they REFUSED to add her to the listing despite me calling from the Hilton number with my member ID etc. They love being difficult. So finally she had to wait 7 hours in the lobby till I got there. Oh and this is in addition to the ACs being from 1955 and the room walls being paper thin, to the extent that we were woken up multiple times by people from the next room coming back/leaving

DO NOT STAYY HERE!!!! The hotel is very dated. A large portion of the rooms are dark and noisy with no real windows. The rooms look out over a hallway. The carpets are disgusting. The front desk is very rude and unaccommodating. Find another hotel.
