Room 305/307 OK for a short stay I booked two rooms for a funeral in Tarboro. The hotel's location was easily accessible. Although the exterior of the hotel appeared somewhat dated, the interior was more modern. The staff I interacted with were very friendly. My two rooms were located away from the elevator. Room 305 was a nice size for me alone. On the third floor, the art was falling apart; the ice machine was not functioning, and the carpet was fraying and slightly stained. Now, regarding the room: if you’re staying for a day or two, that’s fine, but I wouldn’t want to stay any longer. The bed was not very comfortable, the desk was missing a lamp, and the dresser was torn at the bottom. In the bathroom, the artwork is chipped, and a towel hook is loosening from the wall. Now, the bathroom had the best water pressure I’ve experienced in any hotel in a very long time. They provided a nice wireless charger on the nightstand, which was a plus since I left my cords in my truck the previous night. The best feature of the room was that the TV was appropriately sized for the space; I could see it clearly without my glasses. I have stayed at several Hilton Hotels, including the Hampton Inn in Knightdale, where they charged me $50 per night for incidentals. Additionally, they charged me a flat fee of $50 per stay per room. My mother had 307, and she only complained about the bed. I didn’t take pictures, and my review is only to inform management of items needing repair.

Stay elsewy The room needed a total update. Rusty lamp, dirty coffee pot with paint spots on it. Dusty furniture. Pool was closed due to green algae. Wallpaper was peeling. Noisy air conditioning. The sink faucet was loose. There are much better places to stay in the area for the same amount of .money and they include breakfast.

Keep the cookie Do not recommend. Although the room was clean, the bed was creaky, walls were so thin we could hear full conversations. Small freezer, which we needed was completely frozen over. Internet was spotty. Shower was lukewarm at best and if you were 6’ you had to duck down. Room telephone was completely dead so we had to make a few trips downstairs for help. Kitchen area was completely barren of a cup or a utensil. You can keep your chocolate chip cookie.

Good for the discerning traveler. Stayed here for one night for a stop over while driving to FL. Great location. accessible to 95 , local shops and restaurants. Hotel was clean with friendly staff ; room was well appointed . Good for a stop over ; rate was comparable with other Hotels near by . The one negative was that all doors are not accessible with the key card from the parking lot .
