2015 visit The room smelled like a sewer...really. We had to change rooms it was so bad. But before moving, we saw towels were still dirty and looked like dried something around the toilet. This was in October of 2015. During this past year, I'm sure they've changed the cleanliness of the rooms and odors.

Quirky Hotel in Roswell New Mexico This used to be a Best Western, now the local Best Western is across the street, this is now an independent, although the signage and the internet connection still all say Best Western. First impression is that this place is huge, the building is huge, the lobby is huge, the pool area is huge, and the room was huge. But where are the people? Place was fairly empty. Other hotels nearby also appeared to be empty, maybe visitors were abducted by aliens, after all, this is Roswell. Place is less than two miles from the UFO museum. Room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good. There is a steakhouse adjacent, not part of the hotel but good food and convenient, no need to drive or even walk outside and you get a 10% discount when you show your room key card. Maybe because business is slow, a few things needed work, such as one ice machine that was not working, an empty soda machine, burned out light bulbs near the pool, whirlpool was very wimpy and only lukewarm, slow flushing toilet, internet connection was slow.

Never again. This hotel is not handicapped accessible; there are no elevators, front door openers, or access to the bar to buy a soft drink. This hotel is a poor choice for a 50th HS Reunion. I had to stay at a another hotel two blocks away and then drive my 3-wheeled SCOOTER to the Sally Port to meet classmates. During the evening social event, I had to ask security people to open the restroom doors for me.

Not to good. We got our room and the room had a horrible scent in it enough to give me a headache. Then went in to the restroom mold in the tub on the ceiling. Got a small amount off the total $15.00 big deal. We were switched t another room a little better will not stay there again . I have stayed there the last 5 years.

Room with a view. Great hotel, friendly staff, the room was wonderful. Beds, very comfortable.free hot breakfast in morning from 7 to 9 am. Will stay again. Nice indoor pool area with a spa. Appears to be very quite location, which is nice.
