Clean, modern and very comfortable We were only going to stay one night and move to Midland for the Dow Gardens. Instead we stayed 2 nights and drove to and from Midland rather than changing hotels. This one is lovely. The staff is lovely. Starbucks is on the same parking lot. I was a happy camper.

Horrible treatment by front desk staff - Brenda My husband and I traveled to Saginaw for a family reunion in July with my elderly father. We had two rooms booked at the Hampton. I am a Hilton Honors member so I am loyal to the Hilton brand. No longer am I loyal and here is why...On Friday night, we had no issues. When we returned to our room late in the evening on Saturday, we found that our room had not been attended to. My husband tried to call the front desk and the phone did not work. So, he walked down there. He asked the front desk attendant, Brenda, if we could have our bed remade as it had not been cleaned that day and the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed the night before. She told him that the don't clean rooms daily only if we were there for a WEEK would we get our room cleaned. My husband asked again if the room could be cleaned right then and she told him no and that if he wasn't happy with the hotel that he could check out. He said he did not want to check out that he just wanted new sheets and towels. She had towels laying on the front desk and gave them to him. He told her again that he wasn't happy and she told him that she could check him out (again) and he said he wasn't unhappy with the hotel, that he was unhappy with her. He did point the towel at her but did not raise his voice. He then left the front desk and came back to the room. He was very upset. Several minutes later, we had a knock at the door and it was Brenda, with the Saginaw police kicking us out of the hotel at 10pm at night!!!! I was shocked and appalled. The police said that she said that my husband "got in her face". He claims that he did not, but we had no choice but to leave. I had to get my 84 year old father out of bed and have him help us find a new hotel! Brenda said my dad could stay but we had to go. I was literally in my pajamas and had done nothing wrong. My husband had simply said he was upset that she wasn't helpful. Instead of trying to make things right, she kicked us out! There was a baseball tournament in town, so it was very difficult to find a hotel with a vacancy. We ended up at a holiday inn. When we returned home, my husband contacted Alexa, the GM on Monday. Alexa was in shock that this happened and said that they do clean rooms and that Brenda should NEVER have treated us this way. She credited my room (the one night) and my dad's stay. He stayed the whole time because there were no other vacancies in the area. While this was nice, she also promised my husband that Brenda would call him on Friday to apologize. He never got that phone call.

Unacceptable room Upon arrival discovered the door "peep-hole" was missing so there was just a hole in the door anyone in the hallway could look into. Hotel was sold out so could not be moved to another room. Cancel the reservation immediately. Discovered a few days later when I received the "How was your stay" email that I was still charged 80,000 reward points for the cancelled stay. Multiple calls to customer service and only an offer from the manager to credit 10,000 reward points. Frustrated is an understatement.

Worst Experience ever - Mgr never available I stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites 2695 Tittabawassee Rd Saginaw MI 48604 for 3 nights while attending my mom's funeral. The first room I had on the 4th floor; lighting didn't work in the entry which is half of the room. The maintenance person looked at it the next day after I called the desk a second time without checking the bulb he left and nobody gave me a status. The next day I called the desk to find out the status and was told he had to order a part that would not be in until Monday? I then asked for another room and they moved me to a suite on the 1st floor. I had to pack up all of my clothes and transport luggage; etc to the second room. That day I went to my mom's viewing and came back to shower; the water was cold and would not get hot. I called the front desk and they offered to move me to another room on the 3rd floor. I had to pack up my things a second time and pull luggage and things to the 3rd floor. I also left a message for the Manager Alexa McMurren who was never available. I called the front desk the morning of check out which was the same day as the funeral. The phone was not working in the room. The front desk workers were friendly and attentive; however, I felt that they were covering for the manager. The manager not so much as called to apologize nor try to make things right. I contacted the Hilton Guest Assistance at 888 240 6152 and opened a case of complaint and expected a refund. Monday the manager had replied to them saying that she gave me a discount. I never talked to nor heard from Alexa or anyone from the hotel. I called Priceline where I booked to find out how much of a refund and she didn't enter an amount so they attempted to call and was told the mgr was on the floor and she would call back. I spent a week calling Hilton guest Assistance, the hotel (never to get the Mgr) and Priceline to attempt to reach the manager. After a week of calling and complaining to the Hilton Guest Assistance; Priceline contacted the hotel again and got a response; the Manager refunded me $21.65?????

ANYONE GOING TO MEMORIAL CUP, STAY HERE. GREAT HOTEL IN SAGINAW. THERE ARE NO CABS. SURROUNDED BY GREAT RESTAURANTS AND THEIR BREAKFAST IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I WOULD RECOMMEND EATING AT FAMOUS DAVE'S BBQ RESTAURANT. GREAT LOCATION FOR ANYONE ATTENDING THE MEMORIAL CUP......
