Well the gentleman including, Scott, Brandon,Abraham and the rest of the family that work at RL SLC make sure there is no homesick feeling! No judgment! Pure willingness to show the top notch hospitality that any hotel could DREAM of providing! The length the staff will go to to make sure you are taken care of is above and beyond! The sheets are always clean, pillows providing the perfect amount of comfort while watching HBO on the up to date big screen! I thank you all for your perfect attitude and providing what one would call true hospitality! If they can do it, consider it done! SECURITY PERSON SAID THAT THIS IS A HOSPITAL NOW I work at red lion in Jerome Idaho. I reserved a room here on September 22, 2020. I reserved the room for December 18th-22nd. and since I work for this corporation and since Hotel RL is higher than us I thought my experience there would be nice. me and friend got there on dec.18th and the doors were locked. a security guy stopped us and asked what we are doing outside the hotel I told him that I have a reservation. HE THEN TOLD US THAT THE HOTEL HAS BEEN CLOSED FOR 4 WEEKS AND ITS A HOSPITAL NOW. I went over to the gas station nearby and asked if they are really closed and the cashier lady at the gas station said that they have been closed for a while I BOOKED THE HOTEL 3 MONTHS PRIOR MY ARRIVAL DATE. I even called front desk to make sure that I have a reservation and he confirmed that I do have a reservation. I DIDNT GET ANY EMAIL OR EVEN A CALL THAT YOU GUYS ARE CLOSING THIS IS UNACCPETABLE!! WE ENEDED UP STAYING AT DOUBLE TREE HOTEL ACROSS THE STREET AND PAID A LOT MORE. I booked the room 3 months prior so we can save money and less hassle for us but y'all FAILED to inform the guest about the closing IM VERY DISAPPOINTED!!

They could do a lot better This is a large hotel that seems to be operating at less than half capacity, perhaps due to COVID. None of the restaurants are operating, but there is food nearby. In the room, the desk area was equipped with enough outlets to charge my devices. Having a vanity outside the bathroom is welcome for two people getting ready at the same time. I was. happy to have a luggage cart to bring my things up to the room. We were in room 310, which overlooks the heating and air conditioning units. The room shook from the vibrations of the equipment so much so that I thought I was moving! There was a hole in the ceiling above the vanity that I worried about. I didn't like paying for parking in what appeared to be an unsecured lot. I wonder why hotels don't use their best rooms, i.e., put their best foot forward when low occupancy allows for it. Perhaps we were given a "lesser" room because we had a dog? If you're also traveling with a dog, there is some grass right in front COVID, the only food or drinks available was free coffee in the lobby in the morning. The area is okay, probably not the best part of downtown, but it's not the worse. We felt safe walking to a restaurant.

It was okay.... If you just need a cheap place to lay your head for the night, this place will do. Don’t expect anything great though. It feels cheap and a little sketchy. No one greeting you and the front door isn’t automatic so unloading luggage was a pain. No luggage cart to be found. Smells like cheap cologne and the shower looked pretty gross. The bed was comfy though and the tv was large. Even the windows were dirty and I could hardly see outside. You get what you pay for though.

Absolutely Terrible - I should've never even walked through the doors I called ahead of time before booking to confirm their pool, restaurant, and breakfast was open and was told that they are all open and available. I need access to easy food for health reasons. Upon arrival I discovered that neither the pool or any restaurant options were open - "Oh man that's so funny you were told that - bummer!" I was extremely disappointed but decided I was already there. I had to put my stuff in my room and go out in search of food for the night and for the morning. NOT ONE of the outlets in my room worked which I only discovered around 11:30pm with my phone dying. There was mold in the bathtub and around the toilet. THEN. A couple days later I'm checking my cc and find that I was charged 3 charges. $12.00 for parking - which they did not mention once. Fine. Parking, whatever. But then there was a $50.00 charge and a $6.76 charge for taxes for the $50.00. I called to get an explanation and they said it was for a late check out. I absolutely did not check out. I was standing in line to do so 45minutes prior to check out, the front desk receptionist asked me if I was waiting in line to check out and to just leave my keycard on the front desk. I left it on the desk and walked out. I told them to go ahead and check the security cameras to show when I left the building - they don't have any. I asked what proof they had that I checked out late and they said, "Well I guess we can ask the front desk if he remembers? Do You remember what they looked like?" I gave a detailed description of what he looked like down to the placement of his forearm tattoos. They said, "They'd look into it and call me back." Hours later and no call back. They charged me $60 extra for NOTHING, won't return my calls, and won't answer my calls either now. I tried to call their customer support and it takes you to a random person in India who has no idea what to do other than book appointments. I've emailed their customer support with silence in return. Absolutely worst decision to stay here. It was for a relaxing night away for one night and it turned into a terrible disaster I regret even showing up on the property! Homeless people sleeping on my car tires when I got out to go home. 10/10/10/10 would NOT recommend.
