Wyndham Alltra Samana All-Inclusive Resort

Best Family Trip Ever _ What a wonderful stay we had at this amazing resort! _ At first, we were a bit worried because it’s not the most popular place in the Dominican Republic, but as soon as we got there, we completely changed our minds. We visited Samaná, Bayahibe, Punta Cana & Saona Island in the country and the most beautiful beach we saw was definitely the hotel’s beach (Playa Las Galeras). The staff, the food, the energy, everything was spectacular. We truly recommend this place! _

Great hotel to relax Overall the experience was very positive. The animation team was friendly and taking care well of the guests. Bernardo did a great job, such as Joan and Rachel, always smiling and inviting to various activities. The restaurants have nice dishes, there is qualitative food and they even offer gluten free options at times which is unusual for all inclusive restaurants. However, currently there are only single a la carte restaurants open in the evening, with up to 5 choices each for starter, main dish etc. which means there is not a lot to chose from. Especially when you go to the same restaurant every 3 days. Assumingly this will change soon as soon the hotel starts operating at its full capacity. What I saw is that they have a lot of cameras everywhere. I understand this is for security reasons, but they also know at all times where every tourists is and what they are doing, which made me feel like in a reality tv show. I would prefer to have more cameras in the corridors that lead to the rooms instead of the pool area. The rooms are spacious and the beds super comfy. It’s modern and everything is renovated. However, they didn’t install international plugs and they also don’t have adapters at the hotel, hence guests need to bring their own. Overall the hotel was very clean. All common areas were spotless. Sometimes there were some things missing in the room, such as spoons for stirring the coffee, water, and I think that they didn’t exchange the towel every day. Smoking is prohibited in all hotel area except for some single parts in the garden. People are threatened with a fine of 250 dollars when they some somewhere else. The beach is wonderful. One of the most beautiful beaches. They are cleaning the beach every day. The sand is fine and the water is calm since it is a bay. Overall it’s a great hotel to relax since also the town, las Galeras, is small and there is few activities over here.

Spectacular! I couldn’t have imagined a more lovely experience at Wyndham Alltra Samana. I’ve been to many resorts throughout my life. I travel for work staying at some of the best resorts in the USA and internationally. I must say that the Wyndham Alltra Samana has it all! The property is absolutely breathtaking and modern! Two words that come to mind when I think of Wyndham Alltra Samana are “Tropical Luxury”. The ENTIRE property is well-kept and clean, which is a big factor for me. The room decor and bathrooms are gorgeous and clean. Everything is newly renovated. As I mentioned, I travel all over the world for work and in my personal time have visited many resorts, but I haven’t met such hard working, genuine, caring and professional employees as I have throughout ALL of Wyndham Alltra Samana! Working in the service industry can be such a challenging job, yet at Wyndham Alltra Samana, you can see the HEART of the Dominican people for others, which is truly quite unique. I did not meet an employee who wasn’t cheerful, kind, professional and attentive. Shout out to some of the employees: Jose (Waiter), Yujeni (waitress), Ricardo (waiter), David( waiter) & Nicaury (hostess). The only reason the list isn’t longer is because I missed getting so many names. The front desk and lobby employees were such a blessing with their warm smiles, professionalism and eagerness to help! I felt like I was surrounded by true family! Housekeeping was also always very professional & never missed a beat! They were all superb and so sweet! Now, on to the food which is so important, but can be a hit or miss at resorts…. The food was SPECTACULAR! From roasted chicken and freshly grilled seafood, to roasted whole turkey and classic Dominican dishes, everything was exceptional and left us speechless and wanting more! Thankfully, there is something for everyone, no matter the diet restrictions! All of the selections were FRESH. All of the restaurants were pristine! The service was truly impeccable! I returned from my vacation at Wyndham Alltra Samana delighted and ready to spread the word to family, friends and colleagues! So do yourself a favor, visit Wyndham Alltra Samana for a 5-star experience and some of the most beautiful beaches and most wonderful people in the world! God bless each and every one of you! La mejor experiencia Excellent hotel, it has the best attention, the food is super good, and it has super entertaining activities, very friendly and cheerful entertainers. the best hotel in samaná. It was the best vacation. The pool area is very nice, the rooms are very comfortable.

Outstanding hotel and staff. The reason I rate it so highly is based on a number of things; First the environment and beauty of the hotel and beach, the cleanliness of the sea and the hotel overall. Secondly and some would say the most important is the staff who make every holiday experience worth the money you spend. I single out these staff members who I feel proved outstanding service; Johan, always has a smile and organises great beach and hotel evening activities. Olga, who works in the towel centre, always has a delightful thing to say each day. William, the animation manager runs this superb group of committed guys, which makes any holiday a great experience.
