worst experience i have no idea how they have a 4 star rating. _ this was definitely the worst hotel experience i've had in a while. i have no idea how it has a four star rating. I stayed for four days. They didn't come clean the room, the first day they took all of my towels and never replaced them. I asked multiple times a day for towels and they told me they didn't have any. I would ask why they took my towels in the first place and not one person the whole time could give me an answer. They kept telling me that they had pool towels they could give me and sent me off to go back to my room. turns out multiple people were waiting on towels and there were a lot of rooms. they apparently don't have enough to support everyone in the hotel. I also kept getting calls from them telling me to quiet down and i told them i wasn't even doing anything nor were me and my mother loud. They told me to either turn off the tv or be quiet. It was 2:30 in the afternoon. The people weren't even great and found them kind of rude. The only thing that i liked about it was the breakfast they do have good options and it's not just a small selection.

Overpriced The rooms are in need of an update. I advised the front desk via text that the closet was broke and I was informed that maintenance would come and repair it. Needless to say it wasn’t repaired. I also advised the front desk via text that there were spot on the window curtains that look blood. I was told that me and my family would switch rooms, but that didn’t happen. Not to mention the hotel didn’t have any clean towels. We had towels for the first day, but after that we were told on multiple occasions that the hotel didn’t have clean towels. Me and my family ended our trip early due to not feeling “homely.”

Not one of their better properties The good: The breakfast was great, the room was very clean, nice and functional. The bad: The hot tub and business center had been closed for weeks prior to our arrival and we were not notified. The hot tub was "waiting for a part to arrive from Dallas" (a 5 hour trip) and the "General Manager closed the business center; no one knows why." So if any amenity is particularly important to you, call to check to see if it is actually available! On check in, we noticed a musty smell in the room. The air conditioner filters were CAKED with dust and had obviously not been cleaned in some time. The ice machine on our floor was not working. And there was some type of sticky residue all over the inside of the elevator doors that the staff must have seen every day yet did nothing about. The UGLY: On checking out, I asked to speak with the general manager. I was told he was "on the property, but showing rooms to prospective guests". Suuure. So I requested a phone call when he surfaced. It's been almost a week; still waiting! Bottom line: with so many lodging choices, I won't stay here again.

Loud Room The breakfast was good, but we were in a room facing the highway and the noise of the highway and the trains were very annoying. The train woke me up in the middle of the night. The hotel was overall clean and good value, but you may want to be aware of the very loud trains that honk their horns frequently.
