Made a reservation but was cancelled! The property looked well kept. I arrived there after I made a reservation through a third party. I was quoted a slightly higher , yet good amount, at the property than I reserved online. I was also told that there would be a $50 deposit that HAD TO BE PAID IN CASH! Before I reserved the room online, I called the property and asked if there was a hold at check-in. I was told that only the amount for the room was required, no hold/deposit! I left the property, contacted the online site, and received a free cancellation from this property. I wouldn't have reserved a room had I known about the hold, especially cash only. I did get a room somewhere else that WAVED the check-in deposit. I may stay at the hotel another time if no other surprises. The photos for the property look nice, the property appeared quiet, and the price was good.

Terrible Well, my husband and I had TONS of issues with this hotel. First off we booked our room back in Feb for April 12th through the 15th. Right after booking and paying for our hotel online, we called to make sure everything was set up and ready for us when we got there. We were told our room was hook and would be ready for us when we got there. When we arrived, we were told that our room was given away to someone else and they stuck us in a room with two beds. That had already given us a sour taste in our mouth. When we got to the room, there was a cigarette butt on the ground and when we tried to shower, our tub was clogged with hair from previous customers who stayed there. And let but not least, on the last night of our stay, we had a maid walk in our room at 7 pm at night without even knocking on the door. Apparently the lady that walked in our room lives in the hotel and is the managers cousin. NOT OKAY. I’m not sure what type of customer service this is, but we will NOT be staying at this hotel again nor will we recommend it.

This place need serious TLC and better customer service! Not clean at all! I am a previous choice hotel GM i have ran econo lodge, rodeway, comfort, and quality inns. three of these properties were older exterior properties that needed work. Never did i ever receive complaints because what we failed in renovations we succeeded in cleanliness and customer service. Just because it is an old out dated property dosent mean it needs to look the part. I booked my reservation in July for a stay in Sept because i knew it would be hard to book closer to the dates. i check in and speak to the GM and tell him im in town for the BMT graduation and how i used to manager choice hotels. I check into my room long enough for my son and I to change our clothes so we could get on base. I get back to my room that night to find all 3 hand towels are folded on the rack but dirty, the no slip pad for the shower is filthy(black), sink didnt work(had to brush teeth using tub water), and im 6"3 and the shower head was so damn high i couldnt shower without wetting my hair( im black by the way). The carpet was so dirty and visibly stained, the bedbug wraps for the mattresses and box springs havent been cleaned since the ice age. Again i am an ex hotel manager so its instinct to insect my room. The throws on the bed were disgustingly stained and covered in pubic hair, so i took them off the bed. I pulled the covers back and sheets and pillow case were dirty( thank God i always bring my own lien and towels), i moved the mattress to make sure no bed bugs and the 1st bed was GROSS! It has food crumbs, trash, and stains under the mattress! Once lights turned off the room was still lit up like a christmas tree, The curtains do not block out the light from the property next door, all the light from the parking lot was shining in from around the front door, as there was no weather stripping outlining it. On my last night i noticed a sign offering a $55 rate for the families of the BMT graduates. I ask the lady at the front desk and she says yes thats only for single beds not doubles. i was so confused by this because the sign said families, what families travel and only need a single bed?! So you want a family of four to pile up in one king size bed wow! So she says im not sure i can check with the GM but since you made the reservation online you would have to contact them. LOL funny i made it directly through the choice website so no the adjustments would need to be made at the property(again ex GM of choice hotels). So she said she would again check with the GM and then goes to say you should have called directly to get that rate. Once i was ready to check out i asked her how would i know when she spoke to the GM, she says oh i spoke with the owner and he says the rate is only for a single bed. Someone please tell me what since that makes?! Its a family rate how is it only for a single bed! I only needed the room for a place to sleep at night when i wasnt with my airman but this placed failed my expectations of a rodeway in that sunder brand standards. I am not sure how this property is passing inspections, i know the standards are lower for this chain but no this damn low! Choice needs to look into this place asap they are making a bad name for them! Then not to be pet friendly mad it even worse as i always travel with my babies. There is nothing a pet can do to make this place worse than it already is. I started to take photos t show at check out but these people dont care about any of that they just want their money. Im sure it will be an automated pretyped response that ill get back on this like the previous responses ive seen that are identical, this tells you they dont care.

A day and night from Hell Sheets and towels were clean. That said, shower curtain and tub mat dirty/moldy; toilet was very small - apparently sized for a small child; the exhaust vent in bath was in conjunction with the light and made various strange noises VERY LOUDLY, so that the light was virtually unusable - after we turned on the bath light the first time, we never turned it on again; the a/c unit did an adequate job of cooling the room - BUT it sounded like one of the Lackland Jets taking off when it cycled on; flushing the toilet was an experience because it was so loud and forceful- it startled us every time; lavatory would not drain properly - took a few minutes to drain a cup of water; the instructions for selecting TV did not match how channel selection worked; there was only one coffee serving; the breakfast room was supposed to open at 0600 hours - no one was around - finally found someone who let me in - I had a bowl of cereal. After reading some of the other reviews, I guess my wife and I actually had a wonderful time. Choice hotel management...please rest assured I will not ever stay in this place again. AND maybe not stay in any Choice Motel.
