Fantastic Hosptality The hotel is located in the centre of town, which is very convenient, but means the views of the mountains beyond townscape. Two of our bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, though one bedroom in single occupancy was small and did not have good soundproofing from adjoining rooms. The bathroom in the corner suite was also small. Beds very comfortable with good pillows and bed linen and all was clean. The main (St Hubertus) restaurant is amazing and speical. The other restaurant in the hotel is good, and there are other good restaurants within walking distance. The walks from here are many and beautiful and the concierge service (under the incredibly helpful Fabio) organise restaurant booking, walks and guides if needed. He also sent some items carelessly left behind by me.
The spa is very good - needed after a day’s walking . The Gymn is not open until 8am. THe library is a lovely space, but it adjoins the games room, so is not a quiet place to sit and read.
The concierge is also able to book taxis for you, but, something I learned from a previous Trip Adviser review, it is better to use a local company called Taxi Badia, as this is less expensive, efficient and the drivers are very good. They collected us from the airport, took us into Venice and organised a boat taxi to get us to our hotel, and they took us and collected us from different walking locations. Info@taxibadia.it.
In summary, can highly recommend the Rosa Alpina and hope that we return soon!

Excellent visit to the Dolomites Excellent stay with top notch staff! They coordinated everything from our helicopter transfers in from Munich to our adventures in the Dolomites. The room was very tastefully decorated and comfortable for a quick escape in the mountains. Our only challenge was food and beverage accessibility and offerings.

Maybe our favorite hotel ever! This is a magical hotel in a magical region of Italy. In the heart of the magnificent Dolomites, we enjoyed the hotel’s comfy rooms, lovely spa, 3 delicious restaurants, amazing concierge support, friendly service, fun bar with nightly wonderful piano player - all on a very humane scale and a welcome change from massive resort hotels. The hiking at our doorstep was fabulous! We spent 5 nights and wished for 5 more!

Aman worthy Although the location is not as spectacular as the other properties (considering Aman's philosophy and founder Adrian Zecha's manner of choosing his sites), it still holds some grandeur amongst the mountains of the Dolomites. What it lacks in spectacular setting, it more than makes up with that undeniable Aman service and interior design. Rooms are modern and sleek featuring the most fascinating fireplace design I've ever seen -- located on a corner, the glass door that follows the corner shape can be lifted up into the wall or swung out. Service was of course impeccable and personalized. Welcome basket was a fruit basket with cookies, chocolates and freebies including water bottle and back pack. I usually love Aman's attention to detail and the small free tchotchkes they hand out are always so helpful or appropriate for the setting and this was no exception -- they gave me a branded leather wire tie for my electronics wires. Rest of the hotel is also designed beautifully in a tasteful modern way while holding on to the rustic feel of a mountain lodge.
Only slight negative was the breakfast which was not spectacular but still good. That said, they hold the distinction of having St Hubertus, the 3 star Michelin restaurant and recently featured in the World's 50 Best list. Will review that in a separate review.

Fantastic just fantastic I cant write enough to explain how fantastic this hotel is. The staff think of everything ahead of you needing it, they are ALL so professional, willing and just fabulous. I don't think I've had service like that. Nothing was too much, I damaged my leg skiing and they went beyond to help me every day.
What a hotel, the restaurants are second to none.
We loved relaxing in every area of the hotel, the pianist most evenings was a delight. The wealth of detail in every area incredible...just beautiful.
We treated ourselves to the Chefs table in the St Hubertus which as described above was beyond expectation, the flavours, the unusual sustainable, local dishes made our mouths water. Superb.
We will definitely be coming back to enjoy this ultimate experience again.
Thank you so much to all
