Excellent location and nice attention. n People of reception was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. This hotel has a good location to visit the downtown.

Stay Here! Unique, hip vibe. This establishment has by far the best hotel staff in SF. I cannot say enough good things about them.

Great stay Fantastic location and staff very friendly. It was an easy walk to Chinatown and the cable cars. Plenty of great restaurants nearby. Diner around the corner open late. We would definitely stay here again!

Who was bribed to give this spot 4 stars? This was an overall disappointing stay for the money that we spent - I will echo what others have said, Hotel Zeppelin is NOT a 4 star hotel and I would not stay again. The room was quaint, but the cleaning lacked attention to detail as the headboard of the bed was quite dusty, an old toothbrush was under the sink, and pretzel crackers were under the side table. The bed was comfortable and the closet was spacious. The one main complaint that I have with the room was the noise. Given that the room was facing Post St., some noise is reasonable in a city. Unfortunately, the window in our room was not properly fitted to the sill, and was cracked open for the entire stay (photo attached). This meant that we were sporadically woken throughout the night by backfiring cars and yelling people. Don’t worry though, we could easily drown this out with our noisy air conditioning. Now on to the $35 amenities fee. The fee was never disclosed up front by the hotel, nor was there any discernible value added by the “amenities” in the basement games room. To access the games room, we had to traverse the inexplicably flooded floor at the bottom of the steps. The games room was Ill equipped with one pool table, one shuffle board table, a few small hoops with 1/2 mini basketballs deflated, and a broken skeeball machine. $35 per night per guest surely is enough to maintain these “amenities”, no? Finally, our experience with the service in this hotel was middling. The front desk staff were polite and the service staff were all friendly. However, when I requested a cup of hot water from the breakfast cafe in the lobby, the best they could do was pull a shot of hot water through the espresso machine into a cup - leaving me with a cup of hot water, sprinkled with coffee grounds (photo attached). All in all we were comfortable and the location was fantastic, but the experience was just not as advertised.

Fabulous stay at the Zeppelin Fun place to stay - great location, spacious rooms - helpful staff - walking distance to many of the places we visited and mostly convenient walk to the SF Marathon start and finishing line!
