Above and Beyond My husband and I frequently travel for work so we are very familiar with hotel customer service, cleanliness and everything else in between. We arrived later than expected at the Westin. We needed to make some last minute changes to our reservation and Elaine who was the front desk employee at the time was incredibly helpful. She made our changes with no hesitation and we never felt unconvinced. In the past front desk reps seem annoyed when we need to make changes. She was accommodating, professional and just such a delight. Our stay was fantastic. The Westin will be out #1 choice from now on when we come through San Francisco for work. All it takes is one employee to make or break and she definitely made our trip!

Lovely hotel Have stayed in this hotel a few times and always loved it. Great location, rooms are very large, service is great. My only complaint is the windows are filthy! Please clean the windows! I paid extra for a room on higher floor to enjoy the view but the windows really detracted from it. Please clean the windows!!

Great location, friendly staff It's hard not to have a good stay at a hotel when greeted by Alvin at the front desk and helped around town by Anthony at the concierge desk. But the hotel seemed to try to accomplish this goal nonetheless. This is a hotel in need of some maintenance and some love. Really, the great attitude of the limited staff that was present just needs to be expanded about the rest of the hotel. The bar was closed. No explanation or apologies, just closed. The East entrance was closed. No explanation or apologies, just closed. Comfortable beds, clean rooms. Reasonable rates. Broken door to our patio so we could not access it. Filthy windows. Broken vent in the bathroom. Broken wine glass on the table with very nice free coffee. As a joke, I took a picture of a napkin on the floor outside the fourth floor elevator on our first day at the hotel. Guess what I took a picture of this morning, three days later? The bellman were great, happily giving directions to strangers who walked into the garage and insisting upon holding doors open for all guests. The valets were great. Happy to give options for self parking instead of valet service in the building. I know Covid has made life difficult for all of us, but let's get the management in for the big win and give the staff the support they need to make this hotel great again. It's a beautiful building in a fabulous location. I've been staying there since I was a child and I want to want to go back.

5 star prices, zero star service I’m staying at the hotel right now, being charged 330 per night for the room having decided to treat myself to a nice room in the city as a way to relax after a medical procedure today. Check in took approx 25 minutes as there were only 2 staff checking a line of guests in. That was after using the online checkin that was pointless as, upon completing that, i got an email telling me to go to the front desk upon arrival. I called at approx 9pm tonight asking for an extra blanket. It eventually arrived at almost 1130, after multiple follow up calls. I don’t even know why the rooms don’t have proper blankets now the first place given the hotel is very cold. 70 dollars per night for parking is beyond absurd. No bars or restaurants are open nor is there any water in the rooms - in order to get water, one has to rejoin the checkin line. There is a cafe that is open until 10 selling little else but pasta and a pathetic selection of snacks at absurd prices. To charge 4 and 5 star prices while providing zero service is nothing short of a rip off.

2 stars hotel!! It’s not what use to be. We are staying at the Westin San francis, and i regret we choose it. I use to be here 8 years ago and it was great. Now Has no services at all. The rooms are dirty, the cleaning lady of the room only consists in Make the beds and change the towels. There is not even a store where to buy a soda in the hotel. The only restaurant food its terrible. They charge like a four star hotel but hardly have the services of a 2 stars hotel. I don’t recomend it and will never stay here again.
