DISAPPOINTED I have stayed at this place a few times. However, when I booked through hotwire I booked a king bed. However, I received two double beds instead. The room I last stayed in was run down, and the air conditioner wasn't working at first. It looked like it was coming off the wall. In the past I've stayed there and by walking around on the carpet my feet turned black. The place smelled of cigarettes at times and weed.

False advertisement! No refund! This place is bad vibes and is horribly run! After checking in I noticed strange hispanic men wandering in the parking lot looking in vehicles… that had me on edge … there was a man following behind me and seen what room I had went into so I felt extremely unsafe as I am a woman traveling alone. Fast forward. I get inside. The room looked absolutely nothing like the photos, complete false advertisement! I flicked the light on the wall and it didn’t work (red flag but wasn’t a big deal), but THEN I noticed the headboard lights on both sides of the bed also didn’t work. This is when I started to look around and noticed the bathroom door literally off the hinges! The wall had splatter of some sort of substance, looked like it could’ve been blood. Walls were filthy and not nearly as white as advertised. Bathroom tub was peeling badly. The mirror had drip marks from top to bottom like someone had literally sprayed it and let it dry before I came. Even the bed had stain marks on it. Cable box had graffiti on it. Carpet had deep dark stains. I expressed these concerns with the front desk and requested to change rooms in hopes of getting a better one but was not accommodated. I decided to check out as I was highly dissatisfied…. Now that I am requesting a full refund for the 2 nights I am being accused of using the toilet, a towel, and leaving the bathroom floor wet. I did NONE of those things. Highly unprofessional of them to give me such a disgusting room then accuse me for simply wanting a refund! This is by far the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. They had no problem taking my money and was very kind at first. I’m honestly shocked that this is the way I was treated in the end. I will be making complaints.

VERY DISSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!!!!!!! Hotels.com referred my husband and I to (Fontaine Inn/San Jose, CA) for an overnight stay (2/25/23), as we come from Stanislaus County (over 1 1/2 hr away from the Bay Area) Both my husband and I, are disappointed, annoyed and dissatisfied, to say the least. The area, was @ a poor location. Noisy! Room undesirable. Blinds broken, TV did not work, no cable and thermostat cracked. Cigarette burn on toilet seat. Staff unprofessional. Basically lied to us and stated will call their cable company (Dish). Called again and said 1hr, to 2hr to have cable fixed. Called again, 1hr wait. Called the 3rd & stated thermostat is cracked& staff preceded to say,”it still works “tried and and no view of numbers, showing how hot or cold. Only one temperature, which was VERY HOT in the room. Never a comfortable temp. Staff finally came upstairs and said, it is the remote (this is why tv not working) . So the whole time lied and said it’s the remote and other rooms had tv, not ours. UPSET&EXHAUSTED!

Unclear pricing We asked three different ways to clarify the price, and to each response the person agreed the $140 included the $50 deposit they were including. This meant it would be $90 which matched advertised Google, Priceline, etc. total pricing. So we chose to stay. To our surprise, the bill was $140 PLUS a $50 deposit to which they were refunding the deposit. When brought to the person's attention including previous night's conversation, there was no apology, no offer to correct anything, and no acknowledgemnt of even a misunderstanding. The place is not worth $140. There has been some remodeling, but not everything has been updated. Room itself is updated and is nice. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is not updated. Our bathroom door did not shut all the way. Had they been clear on the price, we would have gone to one of many nearby better-known chain hotels. Extremely disappointed.

Traveler beware!! This hotel is Run down and Dirty! We walked in and I immediately contacted my travel company. Then in order to get my money back I went to the desk and they stated that I had had the room for 30 minutes (I had been on the phone for 25 minutes) and I would have to pay the room penalty. While on the phone with my agent the hotel worker was super rude and punitive, telling me I needed to stop talking with a finger in my face. Additionally the room had an obvious electrical fire at one point! See attached pictures. Travelers beware! Take your money elsewhere! If you want a dirty hotel and to be yelled at by staff this could be your hotel
