The little things can make the experience Beautiful property and amazing staff… however first morning here and we buy coffee at the bistro at the hotel. We asked for oat milk coffee and it was Un drinkable and boiling hot (which thins out the consistency of the milk) … 15 dollars for two. We asked if they could remake it with regular milk… flat out “no” !! Sometimes it’s the little things that can make all the difference

Cabo is an expensive US Tourist Trap. All in all this was a nice place to stay but there were lots of inconsistencies in the food and the pricing of it was super expensive. IE, a latte in the coffee bar in the foyer was US$10 !!! Sad thing is that I think this is the same everywhere, seems that they want to fleece the US tourist, sorta like biting off your nose to spite your face. We will not return to Cabo for this very reason.

Complete relaxation in a wonderful getaway The staff is the icing on the cake in this property. They make you feel welcomed and valued. From the reception to the employee who surprises you with popsticles at the pool. The most attention we got from Ricardo at the breakfast. He listened to our special needs and came up with great ideas, always a smile on his face, fantastic job!

Great Value in Cabo Positives: Beach is beautiful. Swimmable beach is behind a man made breakwater. Still quite rough, but very enjoyable. Lots of fish and wildlife. Upgraded to plunge pool room. Very nice. Very convenient to beach and pools. Breakfast selection and quality is very good. Great service from Juan Carlos. Dinner at Taverina was good. Variety of margaritas, all excellent. Adelid was a personable and pleasant server. Excellent quality Mexican food. Tetela appetizer was spicy and delicious. Chicken enchiladas with black mole also excellent. Beautiful beach to walk. Undeveloped area immediately east of hotel is outstanding. Pool was clean and nice. Pool service was readily available. Pool food and cocktails were excellent. Highly recommend the Miami Vice - a Pina Colada with Strawberry purée, Pizza and Burger. Views are generally very good. Negatives Wood-fired grill right by the pool is very annoying. The pool area and rooms on the west side are permeated with smoke from the grill. AltaMar program Reserves virtually every pool chair. Hard to get a chair without the $180 upgrade to AltaMar. Many reserved chairs sit empty all day while guests struggle to find seating. Happy hour - AltaMar has a happy hour at the bar from 5 to 6 pm, effectively locking everyone else out of the bar. Lobby is loud and chaotic. The lobby fountain creates an inordinate amount of noise, making the area unsettling and difficult to communicate in. Front desk was not clear on Hilton gold status breakfast. Luckily the restaurant recognized our breakfast privileges. Did I say AltaMar? Dinner at Vela was truly terrible. Zero stars. Mediterranean salad was decorated Cucumber strips- not a salad. Lasagna literaly tasted like a Chef-Boy-at-Dee product. Our server,Francisco, was arrogant, off-putting and downright creepy. See full restaurant review. Pool was far too warm. At times it had to be approaching 100degrees. Rooms need updating. 70s vibe. Tired and worn. Relatively clean. Overall: We had a very nice time at the Hilton Los Cabos. The majority of the food, drinks and service were very good. The beach and pool areas are nice and enjoyable. A great value compared to other resorts in the area.

Relaxed What a great place to sit on the beach and do nothing! Dinners were great and drinks at the pool were at arms length all day! From the front desk Emil registering us to the transfers to and frome the airport, perfect. The Altamar room was the best with your own pool was outstanding! What a great experience from beginning to the end! Every staff member greeted you and the afternoon turn downs were not expected! Everyone we came across was polite and welcoming as if we were family! The Agave Spirit tasting was pricey but a one time to do!
