Zai restaurant Zai rest is one of the nicest place to eat here. Elisa and Esteban is the best people you can ask for. Miguel is the captain. He’s the go to guy. These guys will work very hard for you. But Elisa is the best. She knows about wines and the best food to order. Best to eat outside. Thank you guys.

Cafe Solaris I loved dining at Cafe Solaris. All the staff were super nice, and my favorite was Laura. She was very attentive and always had a beautiful smile on her face. I felt very welcome whenever I was served by Laura. I will definitely visit Royal Solaris again! Also, the quality of the food was very satisfactory. I love fresh fruits and vegetables—I could eat them all day long if only I had a bigger stomach! __ Also you should check out Marco Polo. Reserve the table by using the hotel app. Food was unbelievably good and the service was flawless.

Breathtaking Alberta from security went above and beyond! Helped us with everything! Kudos to him _ _ the entire staff was so accommodating...The only suggestion I have would be to upgrade the quality of the food _Room was clean, TV service was a little wonky on n off. Overall, great!

Best waiter at Marco Polo Isidro at Marco Polo restaurant is the best waiter of anyone I’ve dealt with there. He’s thorough, friendly and goes above and beyond in his service. Even if the food is slow in the kitchen he apologized and topped up our drinks. 16!day holiday was great

Families with small children- this resort is perfect! We went with children under the ages of 5, overall it exceeded our expectations. The pictures don’t do it justice! I had scoured the web and reviews even checking out spots in Cancun but ultimately decided this was the resort based on it’s overall good food reviews, nice kids area and cleanliness. I would go back to this same resort for next time, I just don't see how anywhere else could be better. And to be honest I am very picky! The staff are incredibly warm and accommodating and used to little kids. We saw mostly families there- if you’re looking for more of a hot spot party place this is definitely not the resort to pick. For the price we paid I’m honestly so impressed by how nice this place is. It was five star all the way. Getting there- we booked a private shuttle (recommend this) as then we could just input our flight numbers and have car seats and boosters available (legally you don’t need either, but nice to have for safety reasons). It’s a very quick ride maybe 20 minutes. Once there they bring your bags to your room and the check in process was very fast, maybe ten minutes. They give you a run down of when restaurants are open and a map of the resort. For a 5 star resort, it’s on the “smaller side” but still big enough with plenty of room. Specialty club- I think if you do a time share presentation you get to be apart of the speciality club. We didn’t and found it to be just as good. They get an extra beach bar, an extra smaller buffet area closer to the beach and an extra pool also closer to the beach. Again I really didn’t feel like we were missing out to be apart of it. Rooms- We opted for the cheapest option, and found it still beautiful. I’m not sure about all of these reviews saying how dated everything is? I found that untrue, fresh paint everywhere, little fountains and art work in all the hall ways. Our room was large and faced inwards to the large courtyard. Very quiet, we could never heard anyone above or beside us. The housekeeping was great, we would leave our room early and our room would be cleaned by 9 am. Anytime we needed water etc restocked you could call them the night before or day of and they would restock with whatever you requested. They also come by every day as well. Bathrooms are huge! No bath tub, but the shower has one of those detachable shower heads so very easy for cleaning babes. They had soap shampoo, I just don’t think any conditioner. Always fresh towels restocked with each cleaning service too. The pillows were super comfy, and you could ask for more if you wanted. The A/C was great we always kept ours full blast. The curtains for the patio were very thick so didn’t have to worry about the sun in the morning waking up the kids (they are used to blackout curtains). Pools- the main pool is HUGE, to float through it probably a solid ten minutes. It also has four small (maybe more?) shallow pools connected with beach chairs surrounding. This is nice then if you want to hang out where all the food and bars are your littles can still swim on their own. The kiddie pool is basically it’s own separate area. The water was also warm. It was very big with two smaller waterslides for babies and then one huge pirate ship with multiple slides for younger children. There’s also the huge water slides for bigger kids. Tons of room for everyone to play in. There’s a completely shaded playground as well with options for barely walking babies to older kids. There’s an adults only pool which is closest to the beach which was also very quiet and really nice to relax at. The beach itself is stunning, very empty. The kids would play there early in the morning and later in the evening. Restaurants and shops-there’s a gift with candy, medications etc as well as water toys open most of the day. The a la carte’s were good, but to be honest the main buffet was excellent. There were always options for everyone with fresh fruit everyday. So much seating too never had to wait to be seated. There is also an outdoor section too. Breakfast had pancakes, bacon, basically any breakfast food you can think of plus authentic Mexican food. When the buffet would be closed (maybe an hour and a half between meals) then there’s a brick oven pizza open right by the pool. Delicious! Also an outdoor grill with more pub stuff like burgers, hot dogs, chicken fingers and fresh fruits. There is a “deli” where you could go in and get speciality coffees like an iced americano etc. Service was always very fast. There are water stations everywhere around the resort where you can fill up your water bottle. Shows- The VIP would have a once a week dinner and show out in the main courtyard. We would just watch it from our balcony which was pretty cool. It was always done early by like 7 pm. The other shows that everyone can attend are in the theatre and are every night. I kept one of my kids up to watch about 4 of them. They were incredible!! I wasn’t sure what to expect, but truly talented dancers and really good choreography. They had silk dancers, hoop dancing, acrobatics- it was amazing. Fernanda was one of the dancers who remembered my nieces and made sure to come say hi to them after the show. They felt very special! There’s one show called Magicland which I recommend bring the kids too, they do all the Disney characters and songs. The shows and the beach were probably my favourite part both for myself and the kids. Kids club- Though every staff member was incredibly warm and kind and patient with the kids, the kids club staff take the cake. Cesar, Yoana, Reyna, Israel, Sam and Ruby were all so amazing. I didn’t really think I’d ever leave my kid at Kids club, but it was so close to the kids pool area. I would sit on a beach chair and it would be two seconds away. They would have a daily craft and movie. My kid would always be interested and they would let me sit with him while he played or checked it out. After a few days he wanted to be dropped off and once he would be finished his craft they would bring him right out to me at the pool. Really big shout out to Cesar, one of my kids had an injury and I wasn’t sure where to go so I brought him to the kids club because I saw they had a first aid kit there. Cesar immediately attended to him and brought us to the resort’s physician. Afterwards when we saw him he checked in on us.
