Subpar Customer Service I have been holding off writing this review because I wanted to give the hotel a chance to redeem themselves. However, they have yet to return my phone calls or emails about an incident that occurred. The hotel itself was fine. No major complaints with the accommodations. The hotel reservation confirmation stated that check in time was at 1 PM. Well, when I arrived I was rudely informed that my information was wrong and I was quickly dismissed. I had to wait 2 hours for my room. My only other complaint is that souvenirs were taken from my hotel room. I honestly believe that the cleaning ladies might have accidentally thrown them away. I filed a report. The security personnel I dealt with was very kind and professional. However, I am STILL waiting for an update on my missing items. Just very disappointing when people say they are going to call you back and they don't.

Unbelieveable Experience Prepaid for a 9 day stay. Hotel Management shut down the Hotel 2 days after we checked in said refund would be mailed in 7 days - Have not received it yet! Radisson treated it guest in an awful way - The staff however found out the same time the guests did that the hotel was shutting down and they would not have a job in 24 hrs. Even tho the staff were loosing their jobs they tried to help the guests as best as they could with all the "Suits" standing around shutting the place down I was very upset with the way upper management treated their guest. I was there with a handicapped person and it was a very bad experience. They shut down the casino the night before and we could not cash in our chips again they took our name and said they would mail money to us - still no checks. Radisson really messed up on this trip.

Not worth a second look This was the worst hotel stay I have ever had. If you don't speak Spanish to even bother. We were ignored at check in, our room wasn't ready until almost an hour after check in time while other Spanish speaking peoples were. The breakfast buffet at $17.00 a person was a disgusting affair with VERY limited selections. We will NEVER make this mistake again!

Benvenido a Puerto Rico This is a good location and good price. One thing about Puerto Rico is that you need to rent a car. With that being said, this location is right next to Old San Juan, not far from the Airport (SJU), La Plaza de Las Americas, a hour a way from El Yunque, and 90-120 minutes to the Arecibo Observatory. I am quite glad that we upgraded to the suite, it was very spacious and was nice to come back to after walking, hiking, and exploring all day long. The only complaint I have is with housekeeping: it was always the mystery of the day if they would leave fresh towels or wash cloths. They would take the used ones but never leave clean ones. The pool on the roof was just refilled and was freezing cold water and therefore unable to use it. I would not recommend eating the "buffet," the smell was unpleasant and was in a small room in trays you would see at a catered event. They were strict on the 3PM check-in, but bell services was very friendly and held our backs for those 2 hours. The beach is a block away, however for the "swimming" part of the beach, it was a few blocks down. I did reserve an ocean view room, however, the ocean was between two buildings and was just a sliver of a view between the two (quite disappointed in that). There are restaurants all over the place within a minute or two walk. Puerto Rico has been once of my favorite destinations thus far and would stay here again.
