Go anywhere else The pool has been closed by the county. That doesn’t happen unless there’s a major health coat violation. There were people hanging out in the parking lot sitting in camping chairs doing who knows what. They advertise breakfast. But it’s basically oatmeal and burnt coffee. Not Breakfast. The kitchenette have absolutely nothing inside of them. You have to ask for supplies. And apparently they run out of them because there was no coffee pots left in the whole hotel. There was absolutely zero supplies in the room. Not even a bar of soap in the bathroom AC doesn’t always work. Very intermittent. Our TV screen is completely blue Apparently, two days prior, they had turned off the water due to a broiler issue. But the hotel never bothered to take the signs down so they were scattered on doors and the floor. The real icing on the cake is that both elevators were broken and our room was on the fourth floor! THEN The fire alarm went off, but the girl work in the desk didn’t know what to do. The guest had to tell her to call the fire department. I guess it was a flare alarm.

Feels like home?? No, not really.... I needed to travel for business and this was one of the few options available in our travel portal. Despite many horrible reviews I decided to take a chance since it was super close to the job site. The woman at the desk that helped me March 26th was really chill, so I didn’t have any of the attitude issues others had. BUT I did witness some snarky attitude from an Asian lady directed towards another customer when I was checking out on the morning of March 28th. I was like ‘oh ok, now I see it’. They advertise these rooms feel ‘just like home’ but except for a full-size fridge and a 2-burner electric stove top it really felt just like any other hotel room. Except worse because there is NO coffee pot, coffee, creamer, sugar. Nor were there pans, utensils, completely bare. You have to request those things. My BIGGEST contention was that the microwave in my room was majorly RUSTED, which is a SAFETY HAZARD. I’ve seen a rusty microwave catch on fire before, so this wasn’t acceptable. I asked them if they had a replacement laying around somewhere, because what kind of place doesn’t have a few spares? At first they weren’t very helpful, so I asked for a small pot and stirring spoon because all the meals I brought were microwavable. I received a scratched-up skillet way bigger than I needed, but whatever. I need to heat my food. The sign at the desk also said the dishes were sanitized, but the pan handle was sticky, so I highly doubt it. Also, it seemed like she was back there washing it when I asked for it, because the bag was wet. Fortunately, about an hour later the girl at the front desk whom I had been dealing with since check-in came and knocked on my door and had the excellent idea of pulling a microwave from the room next door that was being renovated. It was somewhat dirty inside, so clearly the cleaning crew doesn’t pay attention to microwaves, BUT at least there was NO rust. She was SO awesome for doing that for me. The rooms seem to be in a state of partial renovation because some things were nice but some things were broken. Some of the dresser drawers were crooked and askew and the corner of the dresser is chipped. One of the legs on the desk is coming loose and was crooked before I gave it a little kick to straighten it, so I was careful not to put unnecessary weight on the desk. The kitchen drawer sticks, the veneer is peeling on the kitchen cabinet door. The beds are extremely creaky, and I first sat down at the end of one of the beds and the other end was popping up. WTH?? On top of all that, the channels on TV are all crappy, and the couple of channels I was actually interested in would say one thing in the guide, but when you clicked on them they would become another channel. Hallmark, for example, opened as Fx. There were a couple of others with shows I was willing to watch, but same problem because another channel and show would pop up different than what was on the guide. There was construction going on in the room next door. I’d say a remodel, except I see the original furniture shifted around while they work, so not sure what they were doing but it was loud. THEN someone just started stomping around above me. And remember the creaky beds? Well I could hear the creaky beds upstairs, thankfully no one was getting frisky on them. I could hear the AC from the room above quite loudly and hear other showers louder than in most hotels. Then it started raining outside and there was a persistent sound kinda like if a coffee pot was inside a wall percolating non-stop for THREE hours straight. Doors slamming, people talking loud. I honestly don’t recall ever staying at a hotel with SO many loud noises coming from all directions, it was quite overwhelming. If you are picky you might want to pass on this place. I mean, it was OK, it served its purpose but just really was not an enjoyable experience. Definitely does NOT ‘feel like home’ and I definitely will never stay here again, nor in any other extended stay if they are anything like this one.

Not worth saving 20/30bucks This hotel sucked, the lighting in the halls and the room was poor. The front staff Peter was rude, and there was obviously no communication between staff members when it came to guest. It was dirty and grimy. Had to switch hotels after two nights!

Ok except for the barely warm shower and poor staff response. Will not be back. Would be a great place to stay for a budget hotel in San Rafael except that the shower was barely warm and the water pressure was low. When we mentioned it to the staff they didn't seem to care at all. When I'm travelling on business a nice hot shower is a necessity not a luxury.
