The place to stay in San Sebastián Could have stayed here for 2 weeks! Loved the location and the grandeur of the hotel. The rooms are a good size, beds are huge though a bit on the hard side. The renovated bathrooms are perfect and have everything you need. The staff is very friendly and concierge was extremely helpful with selecting nice restaurants, there are so many good ones. We do have a few recommendations. 1. Improve the atmosphere in the lobby and especially bar/restaurant. 2. Improve breakfast!! We were driven out of the hotel to have breakfast somewhere else after our first very mediocre and expensive breakfast at the hotel. 3. Provide beach towels for guests. The hotel has a beach location and only provides normal towels in the bathroom. We brought our own towels but they were very damp and we had to dry them in the room not helping the interior of the hotel room. 4. Maybe provide small folding chairs for guests going to the beach. We had to buy some but would have been a nice service for the hotel to provide for their guests without having to invest in beach staff. All in all we loved the hotel and would absolutely return to this nice place.

Stay on the ocean view rooms. One could say that two hotels coexist in the Hotel de Londres y de Inglaterra: the cheaper city view side, and the pricey one facing the wonderful La Concha Bay. As it is the case with most old hotels, the rooms aren’t big, and this hotel doesn’t have common areas you could enjoy while paying the less expensive rates. No rooftop whatsoever, just the posh ground floor bar. In essence, if you can’t afford the ocean view rooms, nothing else justifies paying the high Hotel de Londres y de Inglaterra rates.

Great room with a view Great location, beautiful room with a view, highly attentive staff. Concierge was particularly helpful. Best place to stay in San Sebastian. Breakfast was well done. Easy walking distance to all of the major sites.

Excellent location, really comfortable rooms and staff are really friendly We've stayed at this hotel for the past 3 summers and I can't fault it. It's right on the promenade, staff are really helpful and know lots about the local areas to visit. Rooms are very clean and comfortable and sea view is superb. Couldn't rate this hotel enough and will definitely try to get back this summer.
