A True Gem This was my first time staying here during a recent trip to Santa Fe and it easily became my favorite place I’ve stayed in the area. Don’t let the outside fool you, the inside is full of character and New Mexican charm. The rooms are large with very spacious bathrooms with a huge walk in shower. The rooms like they are well taken care of and spotlessly clean. The beds are extra comfortable and the rooms are surprisingly soundproof. The hotel staff is great about proactively looking at your Hilton profile and accommodating based upon the preferences. As an example, in my profile I request non-feather pillows. I am used to this being ignored and having to call down once I arrive as I’m allergic to feathers. During this stay, not only did the staff check my preferences and noticed the request for no feathers, they went above and beyond and upgraded me to a “pure” room assuming the request for a feather free room meant I had an allergy, which I do. I must say, this was a first and I was impressed. It’s the small things that make all the difference sometimes. The location of the hotel could not be better, you can easily take a short walk to the Plaza for dinner and drinks. I definitely am looking forward to returning in the near future.

Excellent choice in Santa Fe We came from another hotel in downtown Santa Fe, where our experience was quite disappointing. This hotel was like a breath of fresh air! Very nice and accommodating receptions, very clean room, (twice as big as my room at the other more expensive hotel), large bathroom with excellent water pressure in the shower, large pool on site, nice work-out room, great AC in the room and comfortable big bed. Close walk to central plaza. I have no complaints here!

Santa Fe Hilton The staff at this Hilton were very attentive and courteous. We did have an issue with our room. There were stains on furniture and bed linens that looked like blood (see pics). The shower walls also appeared to have similar stains that my wife removed with a washcloth. Housekeeping changed out our linen promptly. The room was themed with dark gold patterned wall paper and substantial furniture in keeping with the Spanish motif of the hotel. In a nice touch, the hotel provides cookies and lemonade in the lobby in late afternoon. It is just blocks from the historic downtown plaza. Overall, it isn't like other Hiltons. We would stay elsewhere next time.

Great place to stay I had read some great reviews and some negative reviews. We really enjoyed the week long stay. The staff was very friendly. The room (deluxe king facing parking lot) was very nice (not there for the view). Rooms were attended to every day, and everything was there--towels, coffee, etc, and replenished each day. It was a very easy walk to the Plaza. Had drinks twice at the bar (we have Diamond member credits so the drinks were almost free, but they are priced like everyone else in the plaza, and actually quite generous). The cookies offered in the afternoon were delicious. We just happened to grab some between afternoon jaunts and getting ready for dinner. The only complaint would be the ridiculous parking costs $27 plus tax per day. Everything else was great!

Ok, but expected more from Hilton Location was great! Pool area nice, would however be better with possibilities of buying drinks and food by the pool area. Parasols over dining tables by pool, but not over sunbeds which made it impossible to relax on a sunbed for too long. Sheets in room had some dirt marks and bedding had a funky smell. Expensive parking and breakfast.
