It's alright here. The price is best for a hotel stay with a kitchen and full size fridge. The staff has changed and they have made large efforts to be more particular about those they allow to stay on the premises. Quiet nights. Everything in the room works and upon arrival and it is clean. Clean towels and toiletries available everyday. Free wifi and it works well. The shopping is near, just over the freeway. I save on time and gas traveling to the stores. Plenty of places near to order in if you choose. The water is clean. It never smells like smoke in the rooms. Smokers have to smoke away from the building. They are pet friendly. My car is safe, there are cameras in the parking lot and the office.

SHAME ON EXPEDIA This was so awful, we checked out the next morning in shock about how awful the entire place was. The one redeeming factor was the desk clerk, Eric. First, the stove in the room did not work, so he was kind enough to move us to another room. the room was barely cleaned, had dents in the door from the inside. the people there were long-term renters. Now, here is the point. Expedia, hides the facts that many of their 2 star hotels are also gov't assisted long-term housing for nice folks (and not so nice). EXPEDIA should take responsibility and not send unexpecting members to these dangerous venues. We r done with EXPEDIA

Reservation not honored We booked a room one week prior to our departure. I called the hotel directly to make the reservation. After 22 hours of travel we arrived at the facility at midnight. We were informed that they had overbooked and had no rooms available _. They stated that they would not be charged for the room. We ended up having to travel North for an additional hour before finding another hotel with vacancy. At 3:30AM I was contacted by the credit card company to inform me of a fraudulent transaction. apparently Extended Stay tried to charge me for the room after the office staff stated they wouldn’t. I have never experienced such poor service and complete disregard for a customer.

Substandard place I stayed at Santa Rosa South for a lengthy period of time. They have a myriad of issues. Front desk staff is wildly inconsistent. At worst they will yell and curse you out directly. Garbage piled up to the point of being utterly disgusting during a 4 to 6 week period. During the height of COVID they allowed 10 to 15 people to congregate next to my room in a regular guest room! I saw shady drug pass offs and a guy with a covered gun talking about the gun. He was really the least of my worries though sadly. I can't stand cigarettes so the constant smoking outside the rooms got to me good. It's not a place for normal people it just isn't. The police drive through all the time looking for criminals and drug addicts. It's a place with a truly awful atmosphere and vibe. Please do yourself a favor. Let the lowlifes who stay here keep coming back and don't give ESA your money. (I left the place 1/2022)

Unsanitary & Unsafe This place is unsanitary & unsafe. The building is in disrepair, there is trash everywhere, overflowing the trash cans, there are syringes in the parking lot and the rooms, the elevator stinks and doesn't work on the second floor. Additionally, I witnessed a drug deal in the parking lot, was asked if I wanted a blow job by a guest, and found a drug addict overdosing in the elevator, sprawled out on the floor. Finally, the rooms are dirty with broken fixtures and broken furniture, lights with no bulbs, dirty floors and dirty carpet, no bed bug barriers on the beds or pillows, holes in the wall, broken smoke alarms hanging in their cages and door locks that have previously been broken and in need of repair. Not safe, not clean. A clear & present danger to one's person and belongings.
