Dated, but Great Location, Friendly Staff, Welcoming... Attended a small convention. Hotel was smaller than imagined but great, quiet location. Yes, it's dated, bathroom small, and furnishings of a bygone era, but comfortable, clean (daily housekeeping!), and a friendly staff. Had an issue with first room (during the cold snap, room wouldn't heat up), and was promptly and efficiently moved to another room, no debate, plus a very friendly and talkative maintenance crew. Restaurant has a limited menu but very good (also friendly and prompt service), and reasonably priced. Easy and convenient to get to/from Sarasota Airport, downtown (shops and restaurants), and next to a walking park and beach. Overall, a great stay.

Hidden cost and fees The hidden fees and additional charges were ridiculous. I stayed two nights a Sunday and a Monday. The Monday charge was much higher. I was told because they had more guess on Monday. I pre booked my stay and was never told the second night was at a higher rate, it was only at checkoutwhen I saw my bill that this was told to me. Also 45.00 per night for parking is much too high it almost match the cost of my first nights stay. Hyatt you need to do better.

Hyatt Stay Great experience. From the Valet, front desk, bar, restaurant and housekeeping. Room with balcony has perfect and room with sitting room has cool. Just needs dining room upgrades. Tables here dropping, chairs need updated. Bobby behind the bar, the best.

Mybirtday stay very good place to spend amazing time, everyone was very friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond to celebrate my 60 birthdays. Beautiful card with plate of cheese and 4 free drinks on my stay. Marina view room with breath taking view

I will not be going back Hotel needs updating. The coffee pot was standing on a flimsy little table vs sturdy armoire. The front desk clerk was a man with a hair muff on top of his head. Very unprofessional looking. Just not a good experience for the money paid for that hotel. The views from the room of the hotel are nice though.
