My experience The staff was professional and friendly. They require a $25.00 deposit but you get it back at checkout. Bring a hairdryer if you use one. The location was excellent for shopping and trip to the beach.

A. V. O. I. D UNBELIEVABLE DUMP! HAVING STAYED IN OVER ONE HUNDRED MOTELS IN USA OVER LAST TEN YEARS THIS IS THE FIRST ONE WITHOUT QUESTION THAT I WILL NEVER GO NEAR AGAIN! I HAD TO BEG FOR PANS TO COOK A MEAL. NO MUGS FOR COFFEE. TV OUT OF FOCUS. ONLY A SINGLE DEFLATED PILLOW FOR EACH BED! AIR CON MADE ROOM HOTTER! INSECTS ABOUNDED! CHOICE HOTELS MUST ADDRESS A SITUATION LIKE THIS WHEREBY A HOTEL SUCH AS THIS IS INCLINED TO RUIN ITS REPUTATION. THIS HAS BEEN SEVERELY REDUCED IN MY VIEW AND I AM NOW A GOLD MEMBER AND WOULD STILL HAVE PLATINUM STATUS WERE IT NOT FOR COVID. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE…….FOR YOUR OWN SAKE!! CHOICE HOTELS…..PLEASE TAKE NOTE!

The hotel that time abandoned. This scary hotel is located inconveniently, just 20 mins away from old town and most attractions. Upon first arrival, you will notice the decorative litter placed around the property, the under manicured landscape, as well as the unwelcoming neighborhood surrounding this museum of what used to be a really okay hotel 200 years ago. The staff had a hard time finding my reservation but made up for it by giving me ample time to read thru all the travel brochures ... Twice. They insisted we approve the condition of the room before fully checking in. To my surprise, the only complaint was a small stain on one of the sheets and the need for an extra towel... we couldn't have been more wrong. We decided to make the best of it as we were only planning on taking showers and then laying in a drunken coma for a few hours before continuing our trip. However, as time went on we learned new ways and discovered new levels of the size of our mistake. After new sheets, reattaching the shower head, leveling the mini-fridge, removing the towel from the freezer, balancing the table (which had two of it's legs tapped together with actual scotch tape) and killing a few roaches, we decided to just get ready and leave for the night. We had a great night! We arrived back to the hotel around midnight to simply stop in and then head back out. We found out both room keys were not working so we called the after hours number as the office was locked. A man answered and could barely understand what room we were in. After waiting, calling back multiple times, and enjoying the sights and sounds of the hood for 30 mins or so, we were greeted by Grumpy and told that we could not get new keys until the morning because the office was closed so no going back out. We slept.. it was also ... Okay! The next morning we got up and left early due to the absence of coffee in the room. We sighed realizing we couldn't even steel any lotion or shampoo as none was provided. We even took notice of the missing kitchen ware normally provided in an extended stay establishment. We drove away ignoring our mirrors and both agreed that we would never stay at any location, suburban might have. You do so at your own risk!

This is a disgusting run-down property Started with the desk clerk leaving me a phone message that they would cancel my reservation if I didn't arrive an hour before the stated closing time. Made me go look at the room before checking me in, and I get why... it was disgusting. But it was cold and rainy and I had nowhere else to go so we stayed. Room falling apart, literally. Stained sheets, dirty table, rotting cabinet doors hanging by one hinge, smelly, dirty microwave, fridge shelves literally collapsed inside the fridge. Felt unsafe and worried about bugs or rodents all night. This is without a doubt, the most awful room I have stayed in. No toilet paper. No trash can. Wall in bathroom literally crumbling. Kitchen sink going drip drip drip all night.

Horrible Conditions Reserved this hotel for an extended stay while waiting for our home loan to close. Unfamiliar with the area so I chose this hotel because it was a Choice Hotel. There was a dirty bar of soap in the bathroom, dried snot on the wall above the toilet paper holder as if someone picked their nose while doing their business. There was ongoing and obvious prostitution and drug dealing in the parking lot. The staff was rude when we called to complain. We checked out after a couple days and went somewhere else.
