Average hotel The hotel is a ways from downtown-really on the edge of the hotel district. It’s an average hotel, 3 star. Rooms were small but beds were comfortable and staff was excellent. Our room was close to the pool and smelled like the pool. The Kimpton allows dogs and there were lots of dogs (I love dogs but this was a bit much). I would stay downtown or the River district-closer to shops, restaurants…etc. They do a nice happy hour for guests and the restaurant does a nice breakfast.

Fantastic stay! I really enjoyed my stay from the beautiful courtyard view from my room, to the gorgeous pool, to the lovely complimentary wine/bites daily!!! Everything was great! The staff was wonderful, especially Maria who got me a second night for my same rate after I couldn’t book it online. I will definitely stay here again.

Great Dog Friendly Hotel Experience The Brice was recommended by friends as a good hotel that was dog friendly. It is definitely the best dog friendly hotel we have been to. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean. It is a convenient location in Savannah close to good restaurants. They also have a complimentary happy hour in the court yard from 5-6 pm which was very nice. They also do not charge a pet fee. As our dog is quiet and does not create any mess, we appreciated that. We will definitely go back.

Superlative initial visit to Savannah at Kimpton Brice We enjoyed a few days at this hotel where at every level we were met with personable, friendly service which will draw us back for a repeat stay… and we’re from NY! From the get-go, Maria and Jason at the front desk made us feel comfortable and looked after.. from check in (great room overlooking the pool area) to the daily happy hours with tasty hors d’oeuvres (which could become a light meal!) Special attention to the extremely reasonably priced yet upscale eatery on premises. We enjoyed both wonderful breakfasts as well as creative salads and entrees on the dinner menu. Kudos to Percy Lassiter who consults to the Kimpton organization on making the culinary aspect one to remember .. and draw you back. 5 stars all the way to this find, right in the premier location near River Road and in the historic district.

Nice Dog-friendly Hotel near Historic District The hotel is well-appointed with comfortable beds, updated bathrooms and refrigerators. We tried for early check-in at 11:00 and were told we would receive a text in 1-2 hours. No text, so we returned at 2:30pm and received our room. Unfortunately, there was a loud gender reveal party in the courtyard below our window, with a DJ playing loud music. This could be heard throughout the hotel all afternoon. This detracted from our enjoyment of the property and getting any rest after our long drive was impossible. We thoroughly enjoyed the happy hour held daily from 5-6pm in the lobby with great wine and appetizers. Victor was especially helpful as our bartender. Pacci was a nice dining option for both dinner and breakfast the next morning. $49 is expensive for overnight valet parking so we found more reasonable parking in the neighborhood. Maria at the front desk was very professional, friendly and efficient at both check-in and check-out. I highly recommend this property as a dog-friendly option while visiting Savannah.
