Outstanding! Stayed over 4th of July weekend. I have a disability and had special concerns about the room. The hotel manager personally assisted and also communicate my needs to the front office manager. The room they chose was perfect. The entire hotel is renovated beautifully with updated furnishings and modern styling. Pay attention to the interesting lighting fixtures, comfortable nooks and private seating areas throughout the lobby. I found every area to be impeccably clean. The room thermostat can seem difficult at first only because the font size of the temp controls is so tiny to read, but it did work properly. The outdoor areas are beautifully landscaped with flowers and shrubbery around the outdoor pool and plants by the indoor pool. There is a small Starbucks and a lobby bar. There are some missing amenities but keep in mind this is not the fault of this specific hotel but corporate decisions. These include no room microwave, no local shuttle, whirlpool out of service, and things like notepad and pen and plastic laundry bags. Covid had hotel chains rethink where they could cut corners so please forward those complaints to the corporate hierarchy and not blame the on site management. I would highly recommend this hotel please view my traveler photos. . Special thank you to the wonderful attentive service from Adolf, Lynzie and Ann Marie.

Nightmare Anniversary Weekend: If this is what Marriotts have become, I will stay elsewhere Our stay was a nightmare as hotel staff was unable/unwilling to control a rowdy group of young teens in a large block of rooms around ours who were running through the hall, slamming & knocking on their doors, and generally “hooting & hollering” until 2:45 am. We contacted staff 3 times for help to no avail as the security guard, who only made 2 brief hall checks, was outwitted by the teens, and front desk staff sounded as if they didn’t really believe our concerns when we called at 11:30 pm and 12:44 am. I encouraged them to check their security cameras, but perhaps there are none on the floors? Pre-pandemic we regularly stayed at Marriotts for business and personal travel. I found this hotel on Trip Advisor and followed a link based on these experiences. But, this hotel is a disgrace to the company brand. Or, if this is what Marriotts have become, we will stay elsewhere. From the time we checked in, the clerk was less than courteous and friendly. To “complete” our stay, the bathroom light fixture fell out of the ceiling while my husband was in the shower, the eggs in the breakfast buffet were cold (and did not appear to be at a food safe temperature), and while the server happily offered other families water and coffee, when we asked for coffee, we first were told I could go get my own in the corner of the other room. When we appeared surprised, he nicely brought me coffee. Unfortunately, we will remember our wedding anniversary weekend for all of the wrong reasons.

A nice conservatives and modern property with indoor and outdoor pool The staff was nice and check in was prompt. My family enjoyed our stay here and especially the nice comfortable beds! The hallways, modern with great roomspace and overall decor was up to par. If you're looking for one of Marriott classic properties I would HIGHLY recommend staying here and if not there's a slew of other surrounding properties.

Lynzie, Rocks! My Sorors and I decided to stay here during Spring Break to give our children a KidCation. Upon arriving we were greeted by the most pleasant voice of Lynzie. Each interaction with her was a "How may I be of service?" encounter. With such a stressful job, I need a getaway and hearing her kind words each time was just what I need to feel like I was actually away. Whenever she was away, we felt it. The other concierge attendants were not as nice or attentive to our needs. The hotel was cleaned, however, the room were unusually small.

Stay Here When in Schaumburg I very much loved my stay at the Chicago Marriott Schaumburg, and I believe it’s worthy of 5 stars. The location is very prime, close to the Schaumburg/Woodfield Mall and several corporate offices, not to mention the highway. I drive a power wheelchair, and I actually took the sidewalk all the way to a bus stop near the mall, which was awesome to be able to do! Loved the location. Staff are super kind, professional, and representative of Marriott service! I specifically requested a quiet room facing away from the major freeway, and my room was indeed opposite the traffic, making it as quiet as I could ever ask for. COVID-cleanliness was apparent in my room and in all common areas, and masks/social distancing was implemented. Kudos to the hotel for succeeding with cleanliness and upkeep amid the pandemic! Next time I’m in Schaumburg, I’ll definitely book a room here again. This Marriott is a paradigm for others in the area and across the country. Recommended for all!
