Absolutely spectacular Upon arrival, my husband and I were upgraded (due to our Ambassador status) to a Casita suite on the ground floor with a fire pit on the patio (which we didn’t use due to 111 degree temperature). The suite was very large. There is a dining room table, with a large couch, a large tv and a fireplace in the salon area. There are two full bathrooms fully stocked. The master bedroom is very nice, and also large the entire room is very nicely appointed. Two bathtubs and two showers!! We walked from our Patio to the pool which was located right outside. In fact, there are three beautiful, huge pools to choose from. The views are beautiful. We didn’t eat in the restaurants other than breakfast, which was nice. Housekeeping came everyday, but if you are looking for turn down service you have to ask for it. We loved this hotel and would definitely recommended it. We can’t wait to return!!!!

PRO TIP: Read This Never written a review on here before, mostly because I have never felt strongly enough one way or the other to go through the trouble. However, my fiancé and I had such a positive experience on our recent say at the Phoenician, I felt compelled to share with the class. Similar to other five diamond resorts, there is not a lot to complain about - sure you could nit-pick a few things here or there, but they more than make up for it with other luxury service and amenities. Namely, and the reason for me writing this review, the service we received at the pool by a saint named Gennaro. If our stay at The Phoenician was a beautiful bonfire, Gennaro was gasoline. He took our trip to a whole other level. On our first day we had a cabana to celebrate a friends birthday and Gennaro showed up to take care of us. Before we even had our first round of drinks he had used his friendly and genuine personality to form personal connections with all of us. We thought, "maybe this was like, the red carpet package that comes with the cabana", or "maybe we were his only customers", but boy were we wrong. After meeting Gennaro, he looked out for us the next 4 days of our stay like we were family, and truly made us feel special. I'm not going to give away all his secrets online, but it was hard to leave. If you are ever looking for a fail-safe way have a good time and feel like you are living your best life, call The Phoenician and tell them you want to book your stay when Gennaro is working. You won't regret it.

Lovely experience, very few concerns I enjoyed my stay at the Phoenician. The staff was wonderful. I had a great time at the pool, Amari and Genaro were helpful and the food service was great. The heat was intense, but my water glass and pitcher were always re-filled. The fact that there was no recycling at the pool bothered me a bit, as everyone was given multiple plastic cups.

Lovely property and spa destination in Scottsdale! For years I have heard of this property from friends and clients that have been going for years. The property is large and spread out, but access is very easy with golf carts that arrive when you request them. The spa is world renowned and "huge." The vibe is special and intended for a full day experience. The Canyon Suites with a spa focus vacation would not disappoint anyone wanting a special disconnect of pampering. Many restaurants to choose from, we tried The Tavern and Mowry & Cotton. There was retail sprinkled in as well, R&R is a fun store. The multiple pools were a highlight. High touch of ice water by the pool staff was very appreciated. Joanna Paulsel was a joy and her long history with the property put an impressive cap on the reputation and experience on my visit. There are many long time employees which says a lot for the owners and management.
