Great place for family stay i have booked hotel online, after booking i have seen the reviews of the hotel they are so bad, but after talking to the person in the hotel i get to know that now the management has been changed and believe me this is the best hotel you will visit, great staff, friendly people, good value for your money.

Stay far away from this horrid place I got into the room at around 6pm. I had bags packed, woke up my son at 11:45pm and said "we're leaving." I felt totally unsafe in this horrid place. .. and given I've traveled to third world countries and could share lots of crazy stories, never did I imagine such a place would be just outside Monterey. This was not a hotel. It's a total sham. The door wouldn't close or lock. A guy came by with a screwdriver to fix it. The curtains didn't cover the windows so anyone could look right in. The place stank. The entire place looked like a construction zone. Too many shoddy people walking around, seemingly like something else was going on. I went to my car at about 11:30pm and looked up to see three guys watching me, standing next to my hotel door where my son was sleeping. They were watching me . . . that's what it looked like. I decided to wait and find out. The door was not very secure. I did call the following morning for a refund for both that the previous night and the following night. They told me to contact the folks with whom I booked the hotel online . . . I've been trying for a refund. So, far I've wasted about four hours trying.

Good Value, Friendly staff and great service We stayed here during the weekend and received excellent rate compared to what was offered around the town unfortunately we came during a busy weekend. Staff was very nice and accommodations was clean. Close to park downtown and beach.

Awful Because zero star does not exist, I clicked 1 star in the review, but it is worth a 0 star. Nobody at the reception at 6:15pm, no one picking up the phone too. I have waited 20 minutes before someone came, I think he was a painter working in the Motel and he gave me a room strongly smelling cigarette. The toilets were disgusting, the sink was clogged. The owner came and offered right away a refund as he thought I was going to be unhappy. His rudeness was incredible, asking aggressively for my ID and credit card, completely the opposite of a hotel owner who is usually making sure their guests have the best stay. I was given another room, not smelling cigarette, but with a disgusting sink. It was my worst hotel experience in years of travelling. The bathroom was smelly because the extraction fan didn't work. The room bed lamp switch was out of order too, I had to remove the bulb to switch off the light. Don’t spend your money at this business and support real professionals.

Stay Away At ALL Cost!!!!! We are aware that this hotel would be crappy and disgusting considering the price we paid, but the most upsetting and disturbing about this hotel is the person running this hotel. The front desk/ Manager/ Receptionist or whatever you call that guy was unprofessional, rude, and ill mannered. When we decided that we just gonna cancel our reservation, he started cursing on us and used foul words. Very, very unprofessional and this guy was not even dress appropriately like seriously wearing tank top, shorts and flip flops. So save yourself for trouble and just look for a different place to stay. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this establisment.
