Such a loss I am absolutely heartbroken to learn that what has been for twenty years one of my most favorite hotels is now a husk of what it was. The atrium and pool at this Marriott were a genuine oasis that I would often travel to Seattle to enjoy. Especially at night, the trees and vegetation made you feel like you were transported to another world. I can't count how many times I've relaxed in the hot tub or lounged by the pool and felt completely at peace in such a unique and calming environment. To find out that the beautiful plants were ripped out and the pool filled in is shocking. Who fills in a pool and destroys the biggest draw for your hotel? Whatever clueless corporate VP made this decision should have their useless MBA burned and then resign in disgrace for turning something so beloved and wonderful into a barren and ugly hulk. What a clueless and asinine decision. Do better, Marriott.

Basic hotel for a basic stay First, the food options at the hotel weren’t very extensive and there weren’t many healthy options. Second, the lobby bar was sweltering. The temps outside were mild, but there was no air moving inside. It was hot and uncomfortable, making it impossible to enjoy a few beverages. We ended up going to the restaurant instead, where we just ate and left. The restaurant staff were friendly and the rooms were clean.

A less than 12 hour stay, due to a super early flight out of SEA ! But very pleasant and soooooo convenient ! Kevin checked me in. Super efficient. Muhsin was my bellman, as I was very overloaded with luggage and needed his assistance. Juno from housekeeping was sooo wonderful and extremely helpful with deliveries of needed items. Abbas was the very friendly airport shuttle driver and was great at directions, information, and multi-tasking myriad inquiries from so many people (who did not seem to speak English well). We had a rental car, so after checking in to the hotel and dropping off our luggage, we drove our car to fill our gas tank, then to the SEA car rental return area and based on the excellent information from Abbas, we made our way from the car rental area to the airport terminal, where we were able to catch the complimentary hotel shuttle (operating every 15 min., 24/7, and Abbas happened to be the driver to drive us back to the Marriott. We were leaving the hotel at 5:00 a.m the next day and did not want to deal with a car drop-off "in the middle of the night" with an early flight to catch. Very satisfied about the cleanliness of the guest room and appreciated being next to the elevator as requested. Would definitely stay here again if using SEA. The Saturday 07/03 morning shuttle driver was very cheerful and sadly, I did not make note of his name. Great stay and highly recommend!

Pool is gone! Parking is ridiculous! Avoid. This company went on the cheap with what used to be a favorite pre-trip overnight stay. Now, they are no different than any other flight crew crash pad. Waste of money for families and not upscale enough for biz travelers. Mismanagement of the property has stuck them right in the middle of a dull, overpriced glut of mediocre airport hotels.

Lobby bar Met local friends in lobby bar between appointments Rogelio! Exceptional! Believe that was the name of the man who did extra service to accommodate one of our friends' wishes. This man should be employee of the month or more. A real asset and brightened up the whole afternoon. All lobby/bar staff were friendly and helpful. Note: the restaurant is not open during the afternoon but meals are served in the lobby bar which was a brighter atmosphere and only a few steps away. Note: Parking is not free but airport shuttle runs often.
