Family surprise and mini vacation We went to surprise family and Frank was awesome he helped check us in for 2 nights as we weren't sure how long we would be there. We ended up staying 4 more days which Annette had helped us add more days for our stay. My children loved the pool they were in it most days and housekeepers were so accommodating with extra sheets and towels. Would definitely book with them again when I visit

No. Nope. Never again. I booked 2 rooms and both were miserably hot. The air conditioners are old and can not keep up with the Texas heat. Fans helped but it was still uncomfortable. Pool was green but overwhelmingly smelled of chlorine and I believe it gave my kid a rash all over his body. Phone didn't work in one of our rooms. Some electrical outlets didn't work and there were wires exposed. Smoke detector was hanging off the wall with no battery. The beds were comfy, however, the sheets in my boy's room had what I can only think were cigarette burns.

Disgustingly gross Staff was ok. To start with, the front of the building looks to be deserted. You have to drive around to the side to see any signs of life. Room was AWFUL. First off, it was the coldest night of the year & when I got into the room, it was so cold I could see my breath. Then I couldn't get the heater to turn on. Called front desk & maintenance arrived quickly. He jiggled the controls & the heat came on. It was more than an hour before it was warm enough for me to take off my winter coat & hat. I went searching for an extra blanket & when I opened the dresser drawer, the handle fell off. I shoved it back in place. The dresser had all sorts of holes in it. Wouldn't surprise me if they were bullet holes. The furniture appeared to be from a junk shop. The room refrigerator appeared to be from the 1960's. The curtains were stained with red something. Presumably paint. The ceiling had what I think was water damage & was falling down. The peep hole in the room door had toilet paper shoved in it. Overall, this room was disgusting. I visit this area every 90 days on business. I will NEVER stay there again. I was planning on speaking with someone on my way out. But therer was no one at all to speak with at the reception area. This particular "Days Inn" should be shut down & gut renovated before anyone should ever stay there.
