Solid option close to harbour Great location: walking distance from cruise terminal, harbour for fjords boat tours, and the railway, as well as a shuttle stop. Our room wasn't inside the main building and the window looked onto the walkway to get to that section of rooms - so if you had the curtains open, people walking past looked in. Also, it was a bit annoying not to have the sink in the bathroom, and I would have liked more than just a rail for clothes - we could hang our wet jackets, but that was it. As with many places we stayed on this trip, the bed had a blanket and a sheet rather than a duvet, and the curtains weren't blackout. Overall, staff were lovely, we could store our luggage and heating worked a treat. Would stay again for the location. Better than I expected from the internet pictures.

Lack of courtesy to customers. There were 4 other people waiting gor th e ride also Arrived at about 9am and we as told our room wasn’t ready. We didn’t expect the room to be ready as we were going on the ksnail fjord trip. Upon returning about 7pm we. We’re given a room 314 and the tv didn’t work. I went to the front desk and was told by a curt older lady that they didn’t hiave any o th her rooms available. Then I was told that the only room was a pet room. My wife went try o check the smell of the room. It was ok so they switch us. We checked out the next day and were told we could leave our luggage in their storage area. Then we were ready to go to the train station. Course the curt older woman said she didn’t know where the driver was and she did not have time to call him. I didn’t believe that the establishment didn’t have his phone number. Then he came out of a back room. If the desk person had just told us he was on a break and we would’ve been happy. Donald Gleason

Alaska Adventure 2024 Our room at The Breeze Inn was good. It was very reasonably priced and in a great location. We had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious! Our room was very close to our boat dock for our day cruise. We would stay here again. I would recommend this hotel to others coming to Seward, Ak.

Filthy, filthy... unacceptable This is not an Inn, it's a motel. The full name is Breeze Inn Motel. The bathroom had so much scum i could not believe my eyes. I usually don't complain to management about rooms, just never go back to that place if i am not happy with it, but in this case i went straight back to the front desk and showed the lady the photos of the tub in the room she had given us. I said it was unacceptable. She responded that she wasn't the one who cleaned it and there was nothing she could do. I asked to have it cleaned, she said not possible, she was the only one there. I asked to be moved to another room, she said not possible, they were fully booked. I then said when I pay close to $200 per night i expect a clean room. Her response? Well, you actually got a deal because you booked through Expedia. It's actually more than that.... Like THAT justifies filth! Just look at the photos. The window seal is filthy, the fan and the buttons are filthy.. the bed cover was stained.. and the tub in the bathroom was simply unacceptable. Never, ever again.. I'd rather camp next time than stay at this place. Cleanliness is number one for me. I have to say that the front desk clerk changed her tune a bit after talking to the manager and she was more "sympathetic" when i went to check if they had other rooms to move us to. The manager was also more polite than the front desk lady the night we arrived; but still no resolution. Even if they could not give us another room, she could have very well said here's 2 vouchers for a free breakfast one of the 3 days you are staying, as a token of our sincere apologies for the filthy room. But they did not even do that.. They could move us to another room, until they were able to get someone to clean that one before their other guests arrived. They did not offer ANY resolution whatsoever.. Not recommended.

Find Another Place There are better alternatives in Seward. This is an out-dated hotel with paper thin walls and it does not even match up to the standards of Motel 6. The staff was disinterested and unfriendly. Stay somewhere else.
