Really Homey_ The check in was smooth and fast. The staff was warm and welcoming. The room was “awe” like an apartment with all the necessities. Tv in living room and bedroom.Separate living room, sofa separate bedroom, work station area, separate bathroom, separate kitchen area with dining table and 2 chairs. Toiletries in shower and at face basin/ powder room area. Closet in bathroom/ powder room area. Just really homey and accommodating. We loved it. The room felt clean and looked clean. Lots of drawers open & closed for storage in bedroom and powder area. Kitchen with stove top and microwave and large or medium refrigerator. Plates and cups and glasses. Just really homey. I only missed having more mirrors. Only one mirror in the powder room/ bathroom area. Which was an inconvenience for me. But it wasn’t a major issue because I had my live mirror _. Another minor inconvenience was the passage way were seeming very narrow, compared to the usual wider spaces., and the presence of more elevators. But still, don’t let that stop you. The place is awesome. Make sure you visit if it’s even for once. I don’t think you would be disappointed. I was not_. And remember pool and other amenities are open for your usage. I would go here again anytime. And will definitely use the Homewood Suites and recommend it for anyone and everyone. Thanks for having us.

Never Again Hilton Gold member Went to a funeral. Family and I are driving back, exhausted and received a call that they gave away our room. We had nowhere to go. Front desk staff was awful evening manager was even worse. When I say completely nasty, rude and wholly unprofessional. Didn’t care that we are Gold members and had nowhere to go. No notification during the early hours to allow for us to book somewhere else. Never ever again. Worst experience with Hilton ever. No accommodation, no assistance with finding another place. Nothing.

Loud hotel- disprectful guests thin walls people up all night Staff is very nice- but bathroom had hair in the corners, stains on the couch and walls are so thin you can hear people next door. I was on the 4th floor- there was a strange and loud drip from inside the walls all night, beds not comfortable- I think if you are staying here during the week it is probably ok as it is huge hotel and can probably stay far away from others- this weekend it was 100% capacity.

Not a pleasant experience I have been staying at this hotel for the past year every 1-2 months for 7-10 days at a time while here on business. I chose this hotel because it's a "Hilton", it has a microwave oven, a refrigerator, breakfast in the morning, and it's only 1.5 miles from where I work. My experience at this hotel has become more and more uncomfortable to the point I feel the need to document my experience and look for another hotel for my future visits. I don't think I have ever stayed at this hotel without asking myself why I keep coming here. When I first came to this hotel, I recall being awakened in the morning by barking dogs in the surrounding rooms. Apparently, there are long term quests here with their pets, some of which start barking in the early morning hours as quests walk down the hallways. I recall getting ready to take a shower in the morning and there were multiple bottles of conditioner and no shampoo or body lotion. On subsequent visits there was always something missing and I was told it was on back order. On 2 of my visits a homeless man made his way into the breakfast area to take food and when confronted he became irate and threw the food on the floor. On another occasion some guests got into a physical altercation over the last piece of sausage at breakfast and the police, and an ambulance had to be called. Yes, I'll repeat that, over a piece of sausage! There are also long-term guests here that tend to get too comfortable and at times come to the breakfast area in pajamas and slippers. During my last visit when I was checking in there was a man and woman sitting by the entrance of the hotel with all their belongings piled in boxes and laundry baskets. It gave me a very unsettled feeling. The next morning there was a family fighting and cursing in the parking lot with little children in earshot. On a positive note, the hotel provides a decent breakfast with a nice variety of offerings. However, there is a lack of consistency on what is available and how it's presented. Guests are frequently having to tell the staff that the coffee pot is empty, or the toaster is not working properly, or the chaffing dishes are empty, or there are no coffee cups etc. One day the chaffing dishes are labeled so guests know what is being offered and the next day you are left guessing. For instance, there may be 2 kinds of sausage...turkey and pork and you're just standing there wondering which is which. This morning I overheard a guest complaining about the breakfast experience to I believe a manager. The manager responded that the breakfast was complementary and in essence...deal with it??? First, I enjoy having a breakfast included in my stay in that it's quick and easy before I go to work. However, "complimentary" breakfasts are certainly not free and are part of the room rate and should be a pleasant experience every day of the customers stay. I believe the kitchen staff truly mean well but there needs to be some kind of expectation by management to meet "Hilton" standards. My room clock was missing when I checked 3 days ago. I called for a clock to be brought to my room and never received one. Today I went to the front desk and was told they were being phased out for a more homelike experience??? I did not understand that response at all, but a clock was delivered later in the day. I can go on and on, but I think I've made my point! There are some very nice people working here so I don't want to take away from their individual efforts, but someone needs to take a hard look at how this hotel is maintained and how they are missing the target when it comes to customer service.

2 Star Hotel This hotel should be rated 2 star. It is old & needs updating. Pool is the size of a bathtub & hot tub didn't work. No one was there to help us when we needed them & the room smelled like cat urine. There were many pets at the hotel (& it showed)
