Misleading Website and Pictures - Stay Away This hotel is disgusting and expensive. There is no housekeeping. The website is extremely misleading, the pictures look nice on the website but look nothing like the rooms or the actual location. This hotel is outdated and old. Parking was an issue, the room was dirty (the carpet was stained, see pictures) and the room was tiny. The soap/shampoo dispenser was broken in the shower. There was no breakfast and the location was just okay. The location is within walking distance of Lakeside Beach but you have to pay $30 an adult ($10 after 5:00 pm) if you want to go to this private beach. I would do your research and look elsewhere since there are a bunch of different hotels around this area that are much cheaper.

Not worth the price, renovations less impressive than marketing portrays We recently stayed here for 2 nights. While the website portrays a super nicely renovated hotel, the reality is not as impressive. Have things been redecorated/furnished? Yes. But they haven’t upgraded a lot of foundational things, like the outdated and noisy AC units that were quite literally falling off the building in some places. We were in room 113 which was located right next to the ice machine alcove and a maintenance closet which was opened with a super loud “bang” many times per day (management, please consider some type of a bumper on this door so it doesn’t startle your guests throughout the day). Rooms are dark as there is no overhead lighting. The blanket on our bed had a hole in it. The staff is not particularly helpful or responsive. I reached out to the hotel twice via email before our arrival with no response. We didn’t get an answer from the front desk when we tried calling from our room about an issue. There was one woman at the front who just seemed annoyed anytime someone approached. I work in the hospitality industry and this is not the standard you want your guests to experience. The on site restaurant serves some tasty breakfast with friendly service (the iced coffee was delicious and we took some to go upon departure). However, the team could use a bit more education on food allergies as I am gluten sensitive and there was conflicting information presented about what was or was not GF even when an item was marked GF on the menu. We booked a cabana for one day and it was a very nice, oversized cushioned place to lounge. However, other big groups just took over the remaining cabanas and the staff never checked in throughout the day, so we apparently would have been better off saving the rental fee and just grabbing one ourselves. Music by the pool was a bit loud and heavy on the Coldplay songs, turning it down a bit would be more relaxing but it probably helped to drown out road noise. TV remote situation was odd. The TV seemed to be a smart TV but the remote provided was not a smart remote and didn’t allow you to actually navigate any of the features…even finding a channel guide was tricky, and we were never able to get Netflix or any other app to open. The positives were the location, the nice pool, and easy parking included. But I will not choose to return to this hotel nor am I interested in visiting any of the other properties under this management company based on this experience.

Perfect location. Bring your own lounger _ We stayed here for 3 nights. Location was great just mins from the beach and 5 mins Heavenly Village. Here are my thoughts: _️ Checkin wasn’t exactly friendly but staff always so helpful. I get the impression they are exhausted. Probably overworked and underpaid. But I wouldn’t describe one staff member as “friendly”. More just doing their job _ Love parking car outside our room _️ Ice machine was next to our room and oh so noisy _️ The room was either too hot or too cold. No in between and was so dark it was hard to find things in the room _️ Shower was great. Lovely pressure __‍♂️ The pool itself was great. Lovely depth. My issue is lack of sun beds, only approx 12 , 3 of which were broken. Lots of hard uncomfortable chairs. And then about 5 x cabana you have to pay for and no half day rate weekdays. These were empty the whole time we were there _ Happy hour 4-6 for first two nights then it switched to the restaurant next door which is chargeable. Be warned there is no bar so might be advisable to bring drink Overall we did like the hotel and served out purpose. Was clean, quiet and fab location. They have new owners so maybe some things will be sorted like fixing broken sun beds and perhaps paying staff more so they are happy?!

Dirty small not as advertised Terrible stay never going back, room was dirty and small, air conditioning didn’t work, the mini fridge didn’t work. The carpet was stained. The exhaust fan was covered in dust and dirt. The room didn’t look like the picture online.

Family get away Great location and staff. Loved the happy hour! Heated pool so it helps when weather is chilly and kids can still swim...
