Unpleasant. I went in to see if the hotel did discount rates for family’s with baby’s in the NICU at river bend because my wife who was just released and I have a new born and were staying 30min away. I was not told that you had to live a specific amount of miles away from the hotel to rent a room when we came to check in the denied us out reservation because we don’t live at least 30 miles away and this was the only hotel we could afford cause we are low income, now we will most likely be sleeping on the floor at the NICU at least we will be close to our little girl. The hospital would also no accommodate us because we did not live far away enough from the hospital.

Do not stay here!!! This hotel is barely a 2 star. We got ripped off during our stay here during grad week as they advertised as being a 4 star on trip advisor. The hotel room is old, furniture is outdated, toilets are not cleaned properly, mildew in the shower. To top things off our room smelled like pickles and the television did not even work! They should be ashamed for charging such exorbitant prices.

Pass on this one... Although I made my reservation directly with the Springfield hotel, 30 minutes prior to my arrival, the front desk agent didn't even mention the hotel was undergoing a MAJOR construction project. Upon arrival & after check in I was directed to the hall & elevator--only then did I see hall floors covered in cardboard & inside the elevator too... with a makeshift notice taped to the wall to assure it was operational. I should have left at this point, but after working 6 hours & driving for 8 hours I was tired. I hoped for a clean tidy room... the bedsheets & pillows looked clean at least, but we really needed a blanket as well & there wasn't one in the closet. The upholstery on the side chair was badly stained & dirty--I hesitated to put my bags down without throwing a bath towel over it--but there were only 2 in the bathroom. The room air unit failed to keep a consistency in temp that was comfortable. I could go on but will just finish this up by saying I would have slept better in my car at a random truck stop. Read between the lines & laugh at the hotel name with me...

$300 a night for moldy windows my REWARD First, called during severe ice storm, no rooms left at comfort inn, but I could have "member" rate at this hotel. $305 with tax. Room was bit tired looking, worn furniture. Worst was large amount of black MOLD inside of window! Thank god I travel with lysol. The heater filter was filthy also. The driveway, covered, had ice, nobody had even tried to make it walkable. I just looked up a room there for a saturday, and it was $98.00 for same room. ha ha choice rewards! Time to cancel them!

Good location. Enjoyed our stay! Enjoyed our stay!!! Good breakfast buffet with good selection. Great, friendly customer service from the front desk. Great location. Ample parking spaces, tidy, bright not dark. Easy access to highway. Recommended… will absolutely coming back!
