Incredible experience Everything about this place was absolutely incredible ! Usually go to St. George once a year in September and have never stayed at the red lion until this year and I can say I will only stay at red lion from now on when visiting St. George ! The front desk friendliness and service was evident from check in. Always a big smile from all of the girls behind the desk and positive, happy interactions. The layout of the hotel, cleanliness, breakfast buffet, pool and hot tub and the awesome basketball court/mini golf, this hotel checks off all of the boxes of a great stay. Thankful to have spent my time here !

Very disappointed. The hotel is dated and just waiting for a remodel. The furniture is old and in poor condition. The breakfast gave few options and was just okay. Our room had stained curtains, debris under the furniture and in the corners of the carpets and tile. All was in need of a deep cleaning and remodel.

NOT up to par! Have stayed here before and thought we'd give it a try again. Couldn't reach ANYONE via phone and their contact page online sends you to Sonesta which looks like some corporate ownership group. If you can wait for a response for 24-48 hours then good for you but not something I want to deal with. Unable to contact by phone I sent a room request (actually a range of rooms) but NEVER received a response. Upon arrival I asked the desk person if they received my request and he said no ... and that he could not meet my request ... STRIKE 1. Had hoped to get a nice hot tub soak in after a long day of driving but the place was INUNDATED with families and children and contrary to their very own hot tub rules the tub was jam packed with kids as young as 3 with their water wings on and NO adult in the pool ... STRIKE 2. Figured we'd have to settle for an evening resting in front of the TV but with the kids running up and down the hallways it sounded like an elephant stamped so "rest" was not to be had ... STRIKE 3. The final straw was when I hit a switch in the bathroom and although I thought it was the vent fan, a jet hole in the tub spewed a fountain of water and along with it SEWER GASES that permeated the room ... STRIKE 4!! Had to turn on the fan system in the room in an attempt to dissipate the foul aroma but it was an hour before we could bear to breath again. Ok, that's an exaggeration but you get my point. It smelled like a septic truck was pumping right into our room. Made it through the night only to be faced with a breakfast line the next morning that was so long we just gave up and departed ... STIRKE 5! Unfortunately next time through St. George we will be looking at the competition close by; the Clarion, Claridge or Best Western Plus just to name a few. VERY disappointing experience.

Overall a good experience, but maintenence needed to be stepped up. The rates were good and we loved the mini golf and the great pickleball courts. The pool and hot tub are also nice. This could be a very nice hotel and would have given it a better grade but the maintenance of this hotel could be better. Half of the lights in the lobby chandelier were burned out and many were out from last October when we were there last. If they are going to have planters, they need to invest in some plants. Our room was clean except the corners in the bathroom had not been cleaned for months. The pillows were too big and lumpy. Needed to be replaced. The bathroom doors need to be refinished. Would like to have had more fruit options for breakfast, but otherwise it was pretty good. Loved the waffle.

Nice hotel that’s pet and family friendly Nice clean hotel that has pet friendly rooms. Family friendly amenities and the breakfast was very nice too. Lots of choices to suit everyone. Loved the lobby and the pool looks like an inviting oasis but we had no time to sample. Highly recommend
