Great hotel! Great hotel with very nice staff. They went out of their way to be accommodating. Very clean. Located very close to the local attractions down town. There was a gate for the parking lot after dark, which was nice.

Room not ready by check in time Check in at this hotel is 3 p.m. They did not have our room ready until 6 p.m. No wash clothes and only one bar of soap in the room. Room was pretty clean and it was nice having a full kitchen. Location is right off the interstate, so it’s loud at night. There’s nothing really near the hotel.

Great communication; great options We ordered breakfast to our hotel who paired with this business for room service. They communicated with us about our order through texts as it was prepared and ready for delivery. The menu was larger than expected. We had French toast, crepes, and the Farmer’s platter. Food was well packaged and warm upon arrival. All were satisfied with their meals.

Consistent Vandalism Unfortunately, I have to give a 1-star review to the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly. The facility is nice compared to the previous Residence Inn's I've stayed. The cleanliness was good. Location was the big issue. The hotel is close to everything downtown, yet the neighborhood is rough. I found it odd when I arrived at the hotel and the parking lot was gated. The gates consisted of one entrance that required the use of your key card after hours, one exit that would open one car at a time, and the middle gate that will stay open throughout the day for easy access. I parked my car overnight on the third lane from the entrance on Friday, April 30th around 9:35 pm and the gates were still open. The following morning, I noticed the middle gate was closed, so I assumed it was closed at some point during the night. Nevertheless, when I go to my car I found that the passenger window was broken into. I keep nothing in my car so I was a little astonished about the incident. I notified the staff and I heard from other families gathered in the lobby that their cars were broken into as well. The staff was extremely nice and vacuumed my car and sealed it off to protect it from the rain that was to come pouring down that afternoon. Unfortunately, the hotel did not cover for the expense to fix the window. And even worse, the hotel surveillance did not cover where my car was parked (literally by the main gate). I had to pay $275 out of pocket to get it fixed, and that's not including the cost to get it tinted. I decided to continue my stay at the hotel as I thought this was bad luck and it usually happens in cities. I consistently parked on the first row right by the camera to keep my car safe. In addition, the hotel was proactive about closing the middle gate earlier (by 8:00 pm) making guests have to use their key to open the entrance gate. This only lasted about 3-4 days because the entrance gate broke down and the middle gate had to stay open 24 hours a day to allow access to guests. At some point, the key gate entrance was attempted to be fixed because it remained open for days to follow as well. On the night of Thursday, May 14th, I parked in the same spot, right under the camera. Nevertheless, I woke up the following day to find my car was AGAIN broken into. This time the rear window on the driver's side. I could not believe it. At this point, I was pissed. Once, I could tolerate it a little bit. But when it happens a second time within a 2-week span, I would argue the hotel negligence was showing. The staff helped me this time and I asked to speak to the manager. Nevertheless, the manager was off starting that day and the next day. He never showed up to the hotel, even though over 12 cars were broken into the previous night, but he did call and left the most generic message. They were not going to pay for the vandalism that occurred on their property, yet again. I was now $275 out of pocket, aside from the price to add tints to both windows. With this said, I recommend not staying at this hotel unless they figure out a way to add a security guard for overnight parking and make sure their gates are working at all times.
