Worst hotel in Stephenville We will never stay here again. This place looks abandoned. The grass is over your knees and weeds everywhere. The pool is green, the tv is blurry, the railing is leaning. The wallpaper is peeling. Several rooms have no doors with no furniture and you walk right by them to get to yours. There is not one positive about this hotel would be if you were traveling with horses, they have some stalls for you to put them in.

Last Choice I previewed 4 rooms here and selected the best of the worst. We were tired and need to rest. Strong mildew odor and the sofa was nothing short of filthy, totally unusable! We wore socks the entire time. Simply put, I would never, ever, stay there again. I could go on but do not think it is necessary, just read the other reviews too.

My worst hotel experience ever. I will probably never book a room again using Hotels.com after my experience at the Deluxe Inn. Upon arriving and realizing this hotel did not measure up to the pictures, I explained to the desk personnel that I would not be staying the 3 nights that I had booked. I was told to contact Hotels.com where I had made the booking. After 30 minutes of holding on the phone I was told that the management of the hotel would not approve a change to my reservation. My only regret is not taking pictures of this disgusting hotel. The bed linens were wrinkled and I wasn't sure that they had been changed recently. Totally an uncomfortable feeling to try and sleep on sheets that perhaps someone else had slept on. The television didn't work and when I called them about it that said that the batteries, which were held in by duck tape just need to be pushed in better. The heater made such a racket that I slept without the heat and it was winter weather. I couldn't get a refund for the two remaining nights but I got the heck out of that hole. Never again

Filthy Horrible! The room was FILTHY, black mold on shower ceiling and shower curtain! Toilet only flushed half the time it was used. So many LARGE dark stains on the couch we are not sure if someone died on it or it was pulled from a dumpster! Carpet turned our socks BLACK! The "pillows" on the bed were odd shaped decorative ones that NO ONE could sleep on, thankfully we packed or own! AC never cooled the room though it was on high all day and night, TV remote battery compartment was closed with duct tape and half the buttons didn't work. Hot tub was filled in with dirty and plants! Their "pristine pool" was filled with insects, tree debris and other junk, I wouldn't even let my dogs swim in it, had they been with us. The pictures show red patio umbrellas, they are all missing! Many of the pool deck tiles are gone causing hazards for anyone to walk. Their "free breakfast" was hot water, a selection of dry breads, coffee, and a bag of instant oats unflavored. Their "free high speed internet" was so weak you had to stand at the front desk to get it to work, does not work in the rooms or near the pool! Their "outdoor grill/picnic area" was disgusting, looked like someone just left there old grill sitting out in a dumpster and the picked it up and brought it for their guests to use. And the WORST part, the icing on the cake- their advertised walk-up price written on a HUGE banner outside was CHEAPER than the price we got online.
