Never again!! I booked 2 rooms on 5/9/24 for Tarleton graduation 5/10 for $145.00 a night. Criminal upcharging people while providing a rent by the hour establishment . Both rooms were disgusting. The rooms were dirty, smelt horrible and just plain nasty. Smeared crap all over walls and back of doors. My lock/bolt did not work, had to use a towelette to keep it locked. Did not feel safe here. Telephones in rooms did not work and neither did the remotes (they fell apart) and the batteries were held in by a piece of tape ! I used my cell phone to call upfront to ask why nothing was working and was asked to come upfront. She said she’d give me another remote and then said she didn’t know why the phones weren’t working! I took remote and she had the audacity to ask ME, if I had thrown/slammed the phone down. I said, are you kidding me? Of course, I did not. I picked it up to change the channel and it fell apart. Then she proceeded to find another remote and she literally pieced that one together right infront of me. Smh! I had to buy 2 throw blankets each for the 3 of us bc hair was all over pillows, nothing was clean. Nasty, disgusting and filthy. Bugs everywhere.I will never stay here again and you shouldn’t never stay here as well. They need to tear it down. I would’ve posted more pics but only had one.

Yuck, yuck, yuck!!! It's a roach motel. No running water in the bath/shower. No phone in the room to call the front desk. No handicap access to the 2nd floor. Only 1 person at a time can go up or down the stairs due to the narrowness. DO NOT BOOK UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE-DONT STAY HERE I cam across some bad luck while passing through Stephenville that landed me at the Rodeway Inn, I encountered the "desk clerk" who was more then likely the owner as he was repairing things as he tended the front desk. I asked if I could sit in the lobby and charge my phone while I waited for my wife and we decided what we were going to do. He told me very rudely that if I was not renting a room, I could NOT sit in the lobby and use his electricity to charge my phone and I had to leave the property immediately or he would call the police. I tried to explain the situation to him and he advised that his insurance would not cover anyobne unless they were registered guest. I have been in the insurance industry for 20 years and this is a lie. I walked next door to the convenience store where the owner graciously allowed me to do what the Rodeway Inn would not. When my wife arrived, we stayed someplace else that night. How would a "desk clerk" know anything about the insurance for the property?

Somewhat ok if all according to your expect which is not Bed and room good, the tv i had to ask someone to figure out how to get the closed caption on as no one couldn’t figured it out but somehow got it on caption she has no idea how she do that got it worked. As for fridge i crack up as it run fine but not sure when last time they check because freezer got build up way too thick you will mot be able to put anything in there. I hot hurt from the hooks that was on the bathroom door. It has 2 hooks one way up while 2nd was where your shoulder length are. I walk too close right into the hook at my arm. Not great idea . And last.. we had it reserved for 4 people. Only provide 1 washcloths, 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels. I ask the front clerk for more only gave me 2 washcloths (I mentioned 1 more.. he said no i mention its for 4 people he seem didn’t care)

Dead Bugs Checked in and got to room, to find that the room probably hadn't been cleaned in a week. We found dead crickets and spiders in the bathroom. Found dead crickets under the edge of the bed and below the AC unit. The sink still had rings where items had been set from the last guest. The headboard had enough dust on it to clearly write your name in it. The floor had enough junk build up that you would not want to walk on it without shoes. Complained to management and it took until 4pm the next day for them to partially clean the room. Would not advise anyone to stay here!
