Could use a refresh. Staff was excellent. You could tell from interacting with them they wanted to get things right. But the hotel does need some work. Furnishings and carpet in good shape but getting old. Clean bed and bathroom. Pool was refreshing. But the WiFi was non-existant. They could have saved money and just not offered internet at all, for as well as it worked for me. I walked across the street to the Cracker Barrel to do a bit of work on my laptop. Had a weekend rate that was way too high, so something was happening we weren't aware of. Other places were sold out, I guess.

A decent place for a night stay Very good service, but it is an old building and it lacks more care about the cleaning. Simple breakfast.

Damp, dirty, and falling apart... Avoid avoid avoid!! $179 ($189 for saturday night because its a "premium") per night for a damp, humid, and falling apart room. Had to ask for pliers from the front desk to pull the spigot up on the tub so we could use the shower. The light cover over the sink fell off in the middle of the night and woke me up. In general the room was in disrepair and the carpet felt damp and dirty. The manager only gave a $20 discount when we complained. Not a good place to stay or feel rested when away from home. I see their price fluctuates but I seriously don't understand how they can get away with charging THAT MUCH for a room that makes your skin crawl and when we complained they only gave us $20 off? Do better.

Dirty Rooms On a road trip from Vancouver Island to Ontario, we stayed at a variety of Wyndham hotels. This Baymont was really dirty! The bathtub had tons of hair in it, the garbage wasn't taken out, and the sundry articles (e..g, toilet paper) hadn't been refreshed. The lady at the night desk was good and helped out, but since we arrived late (with dogs), we didn't want to change rooms (not sure that was available). The hotel manager should make sure rooms are inspected before they are made available.
