DECEPTIVE HOTEL Do NOT believe the pictures of the rooms. All outdated, looks NOTHING like the pictures. They do NOT give a MILITARY discount. We chose this Hotel for the inside pool. Was informed after we checked in that the pool was broken. They charge you $100 for incidentals and takes them over a week to reimburse it. You had to play with the microwave door to get it to operate. The refrigerator was dirty upon entry, picture is attached. The curtains are permanently open on the second floor, so the sun comes right in your eyes in the morning. Tub had No drain stopper. Their so-called breakfast in the morning was powered eggs and sausage links, no fruit, yogurt nothing else. Beds are worn out and very uncomfortable. I had to ask for a receipt upon check out, which didn't break down the charges, just the total charge with the $100 for incidentals included. The staff at check were rude, we felt NOT like a customer but like they were doing us a favor for us to stay there. WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!

No repeat visit for us! Within last 2 yrs I've stayed at Choice brand hotels in TX and KY & was very pleased. Different experience at this location. Booked a suite for 3 nights. FYI: sign in lobby says independently owned and operated. Con: this hotel sits on feeder road alongside busy highway - we had a room at front of hotel and truck noise was constant at night. Website stated indoor pool under maintenance. Breakfast area: juice and individual coffee serving dispensing machines - out of order entire time. Bathroom had new looking counter, sink and toliet. Bathtub old and non-skid strips were worn out/dirty. I always place a mirror under faucets to check for cleanliness - bar area and bathroom faucet had visible mold/mildew in the filter. Unable to remove/clean screen well. The metal shelf below bathroom sink where clean towels are placed was visibly FILTHY! Rooms are in need of a 'refresh' - tired and dated. Mattress VERY uncomfortable. Closet door off-track - called front desk to fix & even when on track, difficult to slide doors from side to side. Went to front desk 3 days in a row to request toliet plunger. No Kleenix in holder under bathroom counter. Went to front desk and was told "it's on order". There is a Dollar Tree and Walmart close by-would it be that difficult to buy some for guest rooms? I went to buy my own tissue. PROS: a/c worked well. Conveniently located to Stone Mountain Park & Atlanta. Front desk staff nice but the 4 times I went re: a problem and to check out, I always had to wait for someone to show up.

Problems with Cleanliness and Other Issues - Left Mid Stay I booked Comfort Inn and Suites because I was simply looking for somewhere to sleep. We had a lot of sightseeing to do and we’re not going to spend significant time in the hotel. I love hotels like this for that reason (there is a Best Western in PA, for example, that I adore). I thought the fact that this hotel had breakfast and a pool were just nice add ons. We were to stay here for 2 night, we left after one and paid to stay somewhere else. I didn’t even care about the money we lost. I would give a zero rating is possible. This hotel has a big problem with cleanliness. The bathroom was a mess, we didn’t even shower there. There was hair in the bed. Things weren’t stocked - the coffee supplies in the room weren’t and the area was messy. There were no tissues in the bathroom and so on. The pool was closed for maintenance (and based on other reviews I just saw, that seems to be the case for some time). The juice machine at breakfast was broken, the decaf coffee part of the machine was broken…just so, so many little things. I have never, once left a hotel at mid-stay. Even for a place just to sleep, it was too awful. We were so, so happy with our new location and wouldn’t return to this location again. I see from managements responses to previous reviews that they are sorry to hear it and want to do better or make changes, but you haven’t. Words mean nothing without action and I strongly recommend customers consider staying elsewhere.

This place is a no go! Just a couple of days ago I stayed at another Comfort Inn and loved it. When I booked this one I thought I would find the same quality of a place. Come to find out it’s like night and day. When I pulled up I saw a guy urinating in the parking lot. The check in process went ok but they wanted to put a $100 dep. on the credit card.the last place didn’t ask for any. The lobby looked like it’s been around for a while and quite worn like an old shoe. The room was not much better. It seemed clean till you looked around. I could have mentioned all the things wrong to the front desk but I don’t think much would have happened that late at night. Besides that I’m not on the payroll for quality control. That person should be reprimanded for not doing their job. Toilet seat loose to the point of it almost coming off the bowl, has the bath vent ever been cleaned? Besides the bearing squeal the dust buildup was disgusting. Tried to adjust the temperature and found the knob missing. The closet door was off its track. Wall patching is a hack job, toilet had paint and looked bad, microwave and mini fridge needed cleaning! I could go on but won’t stay there again.

Old and Tired, But Quiet and Comfortable. I booked Comfort Inn through Booking.com due to its proximity to Stone Mountain and other attractions we were interested in.I was a little hesitant after some of the reviews, but figured we were not going to be there very much, and I've stayed in some pretty rough places. After staying here for 4 nights, I legitimately only have a few minor complaints. This hotel is old and tired, in need of a desperate renovation, but that did not take away from the comfort of it. Had some of the more comfortable hotel beds I've ever slept on, and floors were quiet, which provided a restful nights sleep. My biggest complaint is that I canceled a different hotel because booking.com stated it had a 100$ Security Deposit, this one did not have one listed. To my surprise, at check-in, right on the counter, there was a paper that stated a 100$ refundable security deposit was required...so that was a little disappointing. The pool area looked nice but was under maintenance for our entire stay. The breakfast was a normal contentintal hotel breakfast. One review stated its hard to find...I wouldn't necessarily say it's hard to find...just a bit of a inconvenience as there is only 1 direction in and one direction out...you can only turn right out of the hotel and have to basically make the block to go anywhere. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The housekeepers serviced our room every two days... but would give us fresh towels anytime we asked. The staff upgraded the door locks during our stay, they let us know up front that they were going to be doing this, that once it was done, we would need to get a new key....so we did so...but we were only given one key due to them not having many of the new key cards. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, while the place could use a good updating and maybe a little painting and cleaning. We would consider staying here again.
