Not worth saving your money Stayed there because of the price. We were supposed to have 2 connecting rooms. Get upstairs and they're not connecting. Call down and she says wait there. Move 1 floor down and the rooms are connecting. I ask for a fridge and microwave and she asks if my husband can move the one from our previous room. Started raining outside and rain was pouring in our windows. Started to smell electrical burning and realized water from windows was causing problems with the heater/air conditioner. Unplugged. Packed up and changed hotels. Water leaking everywhere in hotel. Pool hasn't been open in years.

Serve the purpose I have rented a room at the Pocono Inn Town in Stroudsburg PA. I am very disappointed. My boyfriend and I were really looking forward to taking a swim. When my boyfriend and I have walked around the pool area. I have seen that there were two big cracks on the bottom of the pool. I have said something to the front desk person. Her responed was that. The manager knows about it. Nothing is being done about it. There is dirt on the flour and chair in the pool area. That has not been cleaned up. I was told that the is HBO in the room. There is no HBO. I have went down to the front desk and mention about the HBO. The lady at the front desk was rude. She said she will send someone up to the room. No one showed. There is also mode above the window in the room. I have mentioned that I want a refund. I was told we do not give refunds. I have mentioned the issues to the front desk person when I have checked out. I was told that it was his second day working there. That the manager was not in,. That the manager lives four hours away. He also have mentioned that he will make sure that the manager will call me. Manager never called. I have called several times to speak to the manager. The respond that I have gotten is the manager is not in.

Close to town. This hotel is in the center of town, which makes it convenient for shopping and dining. There is a small restaurant attached (Sarah's Corner Café, reviewed separately), which can be accessed from inside the hotel, which is convenient in inclement weather. Parking is free, but it is tight. The staff was friendly and helpful. The décor is dated, but renovations are planned.

Serves the purpose The place needs a good overhaul, but if you need a place to crash it's totally fine. The location is perfect. The front desk are lovely. There are plenty of restaurants in the hood.
The jacuzzi wasn't open which I had a feeling would happen, but they should tell you that before you book.

Do not stay here! This is the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We checked into our room and the sink was covered in a thick brown syrup, the toilet appeared to have not been recently cleaned, and the air conditioner was broken. We asked for a new room. We were quickly given another room. When we arrived in that room, it had a strong smell of urine. My husband and I quickly got changed for a wedding we were attending and as I put down the toilet seat, there was a large spot on the seat of either diarrhea or vomit. As we left the hotel we asked the front desk if someone could clean the toilet seat and spray air freshener in the room. We should have just asked for a refund that point. When we returned after the wedding, the room had been cleaned. Later that night we heard someone at our door and a man entered our room with a working keycard. He immediately began yelling at us, cursing, and threatening us for being in his room. We packed up and went to the front desk. The woman at the front desk said she couldn't do anything and wasn't able to give us a refund. The hotel is old, outdated, and really dirty.
