Nonfood to buy??? I bought a spa package for myself and my daughter's 30th birthday. I dutifully read through everything sent and filled in everything required. Our arrival time was set for 9:30am and had the use of the facilities until 5pm. I knew our lunch was set for 3pm, a little on the late side for my liking but hey ho. When we got there we checked in and we're given our itinerary. Fire and ice at 12:15 / spa treatment at 1:30 then 2 course lunch at 3:00. We enquired what time the restaurant opened as we wanted to buy something to eat and were told 10:00. We explored them at 10 made our way to the restaurant, we were informed by one person there were pastries available and then when we went to order were told that they were not available for us. We could only buy a Trek bar or chocolate!! We were hungry so this had to suffice and we made the decision for it not to ruin our day. We went for our treatments which were supposed to be their signature spa treatment so you would expect them to be more or less identical would you not? Mine by a wonderful woman called Chantarra, was blissful and she went into depth about what oils I would like, whether I wanted my feet touched, medical conditions etc. My daughter's massage although relaxing did not go into as much detail, didn't seem to know that she was allergic to lavender despite having filled out the forms and didn't offer the hair mask like mine did. Overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable day apart from the starvation aspect of it, which if we had known that there was no food available to buy we would have taken some with us.

Another lovely stay! We had another wonderful stay at The Belfry and were delighted to be unexpectedly upgraded to one of the suites. The room was stunning, with a spacious lounge area and breathtaking views over the golf course. Very comfy bed too! Natasha at reception was super helpful and made us feel very welcome. The bar had a great atmosphere, live music and a fantastic selection of drinks. Breakfast was lovely. It was buffet style with a good selection of food, and we had a nice table overlooking the course.

Disappointing experience which will leave a long lasting bitter taste and a hole in your pocket. Who the hell has a club blaring until 2am in the morning in a family hotel? How absolutely insane!!! The PGA national course is totally sub standard for the price paid with the greens being nice and quick but the condition of the surface nothing better than municipal. The resort beer prices are a complete and utter disgrace, knowing of course they have a captive audience. Our beer was a minimum 30% more expensive than high street prices. The staff have a permanent smile however and the buffet food is very good. If you are on a (golf) break as a treat to get away from a busy hectic day job, make sure you get a room that does not overlook the main hotel and only play the Brabazon. Pay the extra money. Oh and if you are not a complete 4 ball group expect to be put with others, without being told until the tee time - this place is ram packed with golfers and they need to maximise the slots. Lastly, even If you book your trip up to 10 months in advance and your group has planned their travel around the times you have been given, you can anticipate that your Tee times will be changed at random without you being consulted. Apparently the faceless 'golf ops' tea are behind tee times so you can't blame the starters nor pro shop staff. Apart from that. All good on our first day.

Amazing massage at the Belfry spa ! I had a full body massage from Maddie at the spa at The Belfry, and it was absolutely amazing. Maddie was incredibly professional and made me feel at ease right from the start. Her technique was excellent—thorough, relaxing, and perfectly tailored to what I needed. What really stood out was how knowledgeable she was, especially when it came to aftercare advice. She took the time to explain what would help with recovery and how to prolong the benefits of the massage. I left feeling completely relaxed and well cared for. Highly recommend Maddie if you're visiting the spa!
