Great hotel with caveat This is lovely hotel and the gym staff are especially helpful. Breakfast was great and rooms were comfortable. Only bad thing is that i still haven't had my room deposit that they took back which should've been refunded. It's over 3 weeks now !

Great value. Great staff Stunning views across well maintained hotel grounds. Staff across the board are very helpful and accommodating. With regard to value for money it gets 10/10. Rooms are well maintained but tired. Love the old fashioned decor and furniture and its character I really hope that doesn’t change as it adds to the ambiance. Too many hotels are going for the modern look which is ruining them. I would love to see this hotel spruced up a bit with the addition of an outdoor pool and would happily pay considerably more to see that materialise. Best Western you have my vote on this hotel and would recommend it.

Room for improvement Definitely a mixed bag. Some good, some not so. Our room was in the Pavilion, which was lovely and quiet, the room was immaculately clean and the bed comfortable. There are some absolutely stunning views from some of the rooms in the Pavilion, but unfortunately ours overlooked the car park. The room was well stocked with good quality coffee, tea, coffee, and plenty of milk however there was no complimentary water which I would have expected. The main hotel decor is dated and in need of refurbishment. The common areas in the pavilion are modern and bright, but unfortunately our room was dated & dark with broken furniture (cupboard door of fridge was broken & coffee table leg hanging on by a thread!!) We were disappointed with the attitude of many of the staff and the only positive experience we had was with the staff member at the entrance to the Spa who was excellent. I am disabled and arrived with a walking stick & a suitcase & I had parked in the disabled bay next to reception only to be told that our accessible room was in the Pavillion & I was given vague directions on how to walk there through the hotel. Even though I had to ask another staff member for directions, at no point did anyone ask if I needed assistance, let alone offer to help me with my case. I then had to walk back to collect my car. When we went for afternoon tea we were both made to feel like an inconvenience to the staff with raised eyebrows and hushed comments. Twice I asked about pescatarian options and this was rechecked by a staff member. I confirmed I ate fish but not meat but when the trays arrived, one was meat & fish & one was vegetarian! Overall there is room for improvement.

A lovely hotel in a quiet area. I stayed at the Blunsdon Hotel as part of a coach party visiting the area. The hotel and staff were very welcoming even taking our luggage off the coach and up to our respective rooms. My bedroom was large with what looked like a recently refurbished bathroom. Our party was offered a three course set menu for dinner which was varied. The food was good and the staff attentive. The only gripe were the bar prices which we thought were rather steep. There was a great variety of choice at breakfast from fruit and yoghurt, porridge, and pastries to a full cooked breakfast. The flowers outside were beautiful and the grounds well maintained. An enjoyable stay.

Exceptionally nice hotel Stayed at this hotel for one night with a friend whilst on a McCarthy Coach Tour (Macclesfield). The grounds are beautiful. We both had a lovely room each. The dining room was very spacious and the light fittings pretty plus the food couldn’t have been better. ALL the staff were friendly and helpful. Tiffany (hopefully the correct name) on Reception is an asset to the hotel. Will definitely recommend Blunsdon to family and friends.
