You get what you pay for If you take the time to look around this area it is a very sketchy neighborhood. Twice I made a wrong turn and wound up(both times) in a tent city! Feel safe at your hotel because the outer doors are locked and require a room card for entry?? Not here because the exit located directly adjacent to the only elevator had been jacked open and homeless folks were entering and enjoying free breakfast. I was concerned about the large open sores on one man’s arms as he was handling utensils and other items in the food area. I informed two different front desk clerks about the door and both responded ‘I’ll let maintenance know’. I thought about calling police but decided to check out instead.

Don't stay here In addition to the numerous safety concerns already outlined on the reviews here, there is nothing redeeming about this hotel. I had a three night staff planned and ended up checking out after two nights and going to another Hampton Inn. Day 1- none of the fitness center cardio equipment worked because there was a blown fuse. I asked the front desk and someone came to help me, but had no idea where the fuse box was. He told me this has happened in the past, but no one seemed to bother training staff on how to fix it. Day 2- no TV throughout the building. Called the front desk to report it. Waited a few hours and went to the front dest to be told that they couldn't get ahold of the manager (Tanya) so it wasn't being worked on. Day 3- came back from work and TV still not working. Called the front desk and waited 30 minutes without any luck. Went to the front desk and said they didn't know when it would be fixed. I wanted to watch the game that night so just checked out. Saw Tanya, the manager when I checked out, and she said it just needed to be reset. I'm unsure how this wasn't communicated earlier, but I had already packed up and was checking out. She didn't seem to care. I travel a lot for work and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever encountered. Just stay away.

4 of 5? You have got to be kidding me?! How this could possible be rated a 4 of 5 is nothing short of stunning. I have stayed here a few times when everyone else in the area was sold out like tonight. The good news is great freeway access. The bad news...? 1. Inadequate parking with poor lighting 2. Hotel and room finishes equivalent to Motel 6, not a typical Hampton Inn or other Hilton product. 3. Hotel is located in a high crime area including violent crime. That is why they have the lower rates and always have availability. 4. One guy in front of me in line to check in and he is at the counter when I walk in. Twenty minutes later, he is still negotiating with his family how many rooms to get, who is going to be on what floor, which credit card to use, etc. Now there are five of us in line. 5. No acknowlegement of Lifetime Diamond. 6. No choice of location in the building. 7. No offer of snack or beverage until I asked for it. 8. Poorly appointed room. 9. Motel 6 quality toiletries. It meets the definition of a roof over your head. Not much more.

Not A Good Area Definitely a sketchy part of town. Make sure you lock your vehicles just in case. Homeless have surrounded the area and the doors are locked at all times to avoid squatters. Staff were somewhat friendly. Breakfast was the same meal every deal; scrambled eggs and sausage or egg white frittatas and bacon. No difference in a week there. The danishes were expired and the one I grabbed was moldy. I've stayed at busier Hamptons and they still offered better pairings for breakfast. The gym was just ok. It had the basic stuff, but nothing newer. For instance, the elliptical was older and didn't move as easily and the treadmill slipped often. The pool was okay, but the hot tub was lukewarm and the jets didn't work. People also often walked from the pool to the elevators wet, so it was frequently full of large puddles. I would not stay here again due to the area.
