Another good experience Another great stay despite the elevator being out of action for the majority of our stay. Great breakfast, cinnamon rolls still really good! Room was exceptionally clean as were all the public areas in the hotel. Staff are very helpful and friendly. we were so pleased that Amanda is still there, she is a diamond. Look forward to returning next year.

Great Value Stayed for a volleyball tournament and I was highly impressed. Our room was clean and spacious. Staff working at Front desk kind and helpful. They have a decent breakfast and offer hot food. Hotel was very clean and conveniently located with food and gas stations close by. Area surrounding the property can be a little questionable but the hotel does a nice job of keeping it secure only allowing entry at front lobby and cameras surround the property. Slight musk when you get into your room but I have yet to be an hotel that doesn’t when carpeted. Nothing that the ac and a candle does not fix. I will definitely be back as I come up often for concerts and it’s a quick walk to Amphitheatre.

Unacceptable Stay at Holiday Inn Express Tampa Fairgrounds! First the good...the breakfast greeter was friendly and the front desk people were available, but still our recent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Tampa Fairgrounds was a disappointment. As regular guests of the Holiday Inn Express chain, this experience was far below our expectations. Firstly, the room was only cleaned once in four days. Unacceptable. We were left a bath towel to share and a sufficient number of washcloths and hand towels. Since COVID, they've raised prices without providing any extra amenities. The bagels were hard, one morning the sausage wasn't warm (someone forgot to turn on the warmer), the breakfast omelets were burnt and the staff didn't seem to care although they did bring out 2 other omelets less burnt that morning. Understand this is not a free breakfast but is covered in the cost of the room, just like all inclusive resorts. But the worst thing is that we found a roach climbing the wall in our room. They kindly offered us points but would have preferred...switching our room. With only two ice machines in the entire hotel, they were both out of order for three days, and only got one fixed on the last day. Overall, this was not a good stay. We've stayed at many Holiday Inn Express hotels, but this time was a complete disappointment.

Health hazard, Mold in ceiling, the floor smelled of mold. Do not stay in floor 2. Dangerous for health. Dear Mr. Devenbaugh, I hope this message finds you well. My name is Wendy Sajous, and I am writing to address a grave concern regarding my recent stay at your establishment. I had made a reservation a month in advance and arrived at the hotel today at 3 pm. Unfortunately, I was met with a deeply distressing situation. Upon entering my assigned room, I was immediately greeted by a noxious odor, which subsequently led to persistent coughing. To my dismay, upon closer inspection, I discovered a significant presence of mold on the ceiling. I promptly recorded visual evidence, which I have attached for your reference. Given the severity of the situation, particularly in light of my daughter's asthma, I immediately approached your staff, Valentina and Amanda, seeking reassignment to a mold-free accommodation. Regrettably, the maintenance personnel also confirmed the existence of mold, asserting that this development occurred on the very day of my arrival. As a professional in the construction industry, I can assert with confidence that this situation did not transpire within a mere day, as the observed growth had already taken on a deeply concerning black hue. I must stress that the pervasive smell of mold and dampness on the entire second floor poses a significant health risk to your patrons. Consequently, I requested a change of room. Despite their efforts to relocate me to Room 214 on the same floor, the smell and remnants of mold persisted. Regrettably, no alternative accommodations on a different floor were available, as you were fully booked. In light of the gravity of this situation, I am compelled to request a full refund. I have provided my credit card details, and an authorization hold of over $200 has been placed on it. It is imperative to emphasize that this experience underscores a profound safety concern that should not be taken lightly. Such conditions should not be tolerated within your esteemed establishment. I implore you to thoroughly investigate and rectify this issue promptly. It is my fervent hope that this matter can be resolved amicably, without the necessity for further escalation. I trust that you will take immediate action to refund my payment. It is deeply disheartening to note that, despite this email, a charge has been levied for half the room cost, despite your inability to provide a safe and habitable environment. This experience has left an indelible mark on my perception of your establishment. I am resolute in my decision that Holiday Inn will no longer enjoy the patronage of my family. A mere $90 charge has resulted in the forfeiture of a loyal customer and a disparaging review, which could have been avoided had this matter been handled with the gravity it deserves. I earnestly implore you to reflect on the serious implications of mold exposure and the resultant health hazards. It is deeply disconcerting to contemplate that such a reputable chain has not proactively addressed this issue by temporarily closing its doors to rectify the problem, instead opting to continue operations, putting the health and safety of its patrons at risk. Regrettably, my interaction with you, Mr. Devenbaugh, was marked by brevity, impatience, and a palpable reluctance to hear my concerns. This glaring deficiency in customer service has left me deeply disappointed. I trust that you will treat this matter with the urgency and gravity it warrants. I look forward to your prompt attention to this pressing issue.

Disgusting and horrible!!! We stayed in many Holiday Inns and Suites but this is the one is as clean as a Motel 6 next to an interstate. The room was dirty, beds had crumbs in it, things were broken, low water pressure, the breakfast was disgusting, the pool was dirt and green. Oh if you like strangers and groups of men hanging around the parking lot all night. I should have known with the smell of Pot in the lobby and outside that we should have gone somewhere else. You will go no sleep with the trucks going bye all night!!! This list goes on and on… save your money and your stomach and go somewhere else.
