Clean and comfortable I stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the area. The room was clean and comfortable. You had to have a voucher to partake of the morning breakfast which had a good selection of morning favorites. There was a large group staying on my floor which at times got loud during the night. Security kept a lid on the noise. The pool area was large with plenty of room. This is a non-smoking hotel. Neighborhood is kind of lousy but guests are isolated from it. If your room ends in 30, you have a long walk to your room

Sketchy property- but Jamari (front desk) rocks! Dirty outdoor pool- needs a better filter. Staff was not friendly, save for front desk agent Jamari. Upon checking in, a “shady” group was hovering and after several attempts with financials and ID, was successful in getting a room. Jamari ensured we were roomed far away from these guests, which I very much appreciated. I’m not a snob by any means- the price point for this establishment should have been my warning. What attracted me to this property was the long term parking and shuttle service to/from cruise port for additional $55. Lesson learned- you do indeed get what you pay for

DONT STAY HERE!!!! Where do I start. The whole hotel smells like marijuana. Bad enough to give you a headache. The hotel is very sketchy and in a sketchy area. I travel with a service dog. They are so uneducated. They accused me of being fake because I did not have an ID for my service dog. I tried to explain the people with the ID's are the fakes. I even pulled up Amazon to show them. The staff really needs to be trained on ADA laws.

Smoky, smelly, dirty, noisy hotel _ There are people smoking (cigarettes, weed and other drugs) in the hallways. The rooms reek of cigarette smokes. Room is dirty, front desk staff employee is rude and unhelpful. Very sketchy hotel in a sketchy area. Avoid at all costs (not a cheap hotel either!) unless you’re into this kinda place

Dirty sheets, dirty shower, unsanitary breakfast Stayed here for a second time for the Gasparilla Half Marathon and what a terrible decision this hotel was. I expect at least clean sheets when paying $212 a night. Dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, noisy, and an unsanitary breakfast area. I contacted the hotel before posting this and they sent a canned response which did not address my concerns. When I arrived at the hotel, the first thing I saw were the three homeless people sitting in the parking lot washing their hands with a bottle of water. When I brought this up to the front desk they didn’t seem to care which made it seem like the norm. The hotel is not located in a great area. Once I checked into the hotel room,I turned down the sheets and it was DIRTY. There was black dirt and debris all in the sheets (see picture). The shower was also dirty. I tried to call the front desk from the room but the phone did not work. I went to the front desk and shortly a lady from housekeeping came into the room to inspect the room. She said the sheets would be changed and came back with two ladies who stripped both beds and remade with clean sheets. They also cleaned the shower. Although I am grateful for the quick response from housekeeping, this never should have happened. The least I expect from a hotel room is CLEAN SHEETS. Why should I have to ASK for a clean bathroom and clean sheets. Be warned — if you stay here, immediately pull the sheets down to check that you aren’t about to stay in the same sheets as the last person from the room!! Ick! Had an awful nights sleep because of how thin the walls are. I should have just slept in the lobby. I didn’t have this problem when I stayed before, the first floor was a terrible location. The next day while finishing breakfast, I saw the staff clean the kitchen area. They used the same towel to clean the waffle maker as they used to clean the floor!!!! How disgusting!!!! So unsanitary. The health inspector needs to make a visit- this place is GROSS!!! Do not stay here. Everything is dirty, you won’t have a good nights sleep, and it is way over priced. So disappointed.
