okay overall, room is fine but amenities aren't great. had to go here because no ac in apartment. i went to another sonesta in tempe recently and they had a store and stuff and general medicinal items like a small convenience selection. did not have that here at all. they had a store in their laundry room but apparently recently removed it so it was at the front desk. i asked for tums because i have a really bad heartburn but all they have is benadryl. the food in there is unbelievably overpriced. other than that its okay. i would say still go here if you want a cheaper place to stay that also has a kitchen cause the price is good and the actual room is okay for a cheap hotel. i just was not impressed with the shop option at all and it was very disappointing. so just don't expect much in the way of extras here that are very good.

Fleas and dirt! This hotel had a good set up but our room was not clean. The furniture was stained, the lamp shades had holes and I was bitten up by fleas. The couch had nasty stains on it. I had to put a sheet on it before I could sit on it. I would have left but could not get a refund. The dishwasher was missing wheels and was rusted. I washed dishes by hand because of the inside condition of the dishwasher. I asked for a light clean and they only vacuumed, (that is it!) They left the trash full and dirty towels and sheets on the floor by the door, where we left them for them to take.

horrible. horrible. not only did we get scammed when we first got here, but staff was terribly rude including the manager. not accommodating to customers whatsoever. we had black hair all over bathroom floor when we first arrived and 2 shower towels the size of a bath mat. room was extremely dirty and bed was made with the sheets inside out. DO NOT STAY HERE.

If you travel solo, book for 3 or 4 guests. Don’t leave the roaches out! This fine establishment gets a 0 out of 10 for me. Only positive is the location that’s about it. Honesty doesn't get you very far at this hotel. I informed the front desk regarding bugs in my room upon checking out immediately after finding them crawling on the counters and walls in the kitchen area. Front desk affirmed she’d leave a note for management and apologized. Called in later that day and asked if there were any compensation options since I didn’t get a full nights rest here after finding what look like roaches. The manager told me they never heard anything regarding my complaint. Lmao that made my day honestly. I didn’t want to do this for your business but since you used zero effort to make anything right, these pictures are my heartfelt gift from me to you.

Rude staff, poor customer service When we first arrived, our room was missing several items (hair dryer, sheet on bed, some silverware, sugar for coffee, regular coffee), in addition the tub didn't empty. However, the desk clerk bent over backwards to fix everything and we were happy. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. Great room size, overstuffed easy chair, and full sized fridge. We left for 2 days and came back to another room. The room was good, but the customer service was awful. I put my laundry in the washer, and saw a sign that we couldn't leave it for more than 30 minutes. We were hungry, so I asked the desk clerk if we could leave it a bit longer. He got very rude, told us he would throw our laundry away, and we ended up putting our wet laundry in the room. (there were 5 washers and six dryers, and none were being used). I called SONESTA, the woman I talked to was very apologetic and called the property while I was on the phone. She came back very upset because he was terribly rude to her also. Told me to stay away from him. Later I had to go get towels because we used ours for the pool. When I asked him for towels he had me bring him my wet towels, but had only pool towels to replace them. He got rude again. I asked for his name, he said Charles. He asked if I wanted his last name and I said no, I figured they would know him. He said he makes an impact on people. This motel is completely self serve. If you need towels you must take them to the desk, and meet them around the corner to get new ones. We asked where to put our trash, and were told where the dumpster was, but it was locked. Other people put their trash out in the hall, and it stayed for 2 days. The "breakfast room" was locked and had no breakfast, just a few snacks and toiletries for sale. There was a free coffee machine, but only powdered creamer and you need a clerk to let you in. This room doubled as the laundry. Every time you wanted to check on your laundry, you had to get a clerk to let you in. Often there were people sitting around in the office. When we checked out early Monday morning, the clerk was very disheveled, but was efficient. After my altercation with the clerk, everyone was very cold and unhelpful. Even the gentleman who was originally so nice, didn't even get up when I went to the desk. Because the bed was comfortable and clean and the size of the room was awesome with a full size fridge and microwave, I can't give this motel, 1 star. However, they definitely need to work on customer service. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android
