Excellent Service! My husband and I always visit the Embassy Suites when there’s one available. We are here on business in Tempe, Arizona and they did not disappoint. The breakfast was outstanding the next morning. Frederick was a greater and cleaned off the tables. He was magnificent. He made me and everyone in the building feel welcomed. This guy should definitely get a raise and promotion because he is good for the company. He went out of his way, not only for us, but for anyone who came into the restaurant for breakfast. He was well versed in his job and happy to be here! We will definitely come back to this location again. The rooms are large and spacious. This is an older Embassy, but the place is well kept. Only suggestion I have, they need to replace the bathroom with just a walk in shower.

Quality With Up Most Compassionate Personal Touch Embassy Suites Hotel offers an exceptional experience overall, I must state in particular two who stood out Freddy & Carla. These two illuminate joy to ann almost infectious degree, that spreads like wild fire through the masses .Freddy ensures quality within the morning breakfast rise that is radiating through to guests and staff alike. Freddy’s infectious energy and attention to detail create a positive atmosphere as soon as you enter the room. The breakfast spread is of high quality and personalized. Guests feel uplifted and energized, making their stay memorable. The impact of this gentleman's dedication is felt throughout the entire hotel. The positive energy he brings to the breakfast experience sets the tone for the rest of the day, leaving guests feeling uplifted and energized. It's not just about the food, but the overall experience of starting the day on a high note. If you decide to stay here, you will have made an undeniably right choice. From staff anll around thank you for how you operate this positive establishment!

Charge for Parking The hotel, breakfast and staff were ok. On checking in I was asked if I had a car, which I normally do when I travel. I was informed that I would be charged for nightly open-air, non-gated parking. This emerging trend is so frustrating! I hate paying for parking at a place where I just booked a room.

Steer Clear!!! Very disappointed. My family always stays at Embassy Suites when we come to Phoenix. We have never been let down by the Phoenix-Biltmore location, but this Tempe hotel is the worst! We checked in at about 8PM on our first night and couldn’t get our room to cool down from 74°. By 10:30 we called the front desk and asked if that was the neutral temp, and they assured the room should be able to cool to at least 70° in the summer. An “engineer” was sent to our room by 10:50 and while we appreciated his help, he could barely speak English so it was hard to communicate. He replaced the filter and let us know that some units just have difficulty operating in the summer and Room 182 was one of those. He notified us that his shift was over at 11 and he’d coordinate with the front desk to have us moved to a room with an operating A/C. We were moved over by 11:30PM, and unfortunately still had to wait about 2 hours for our room to cool down to an acceptable temperature before we could sleep. This trip, we were here for tournaments and had to be out the door by 6AM, so the long night was a huge inconvenience. When it came time to shower at 5:30AM, we only had 2 towels in a room for 4. Unfortunately we didn’t have the bandwidth to wait for towels, so we weathered the 110° Phoenix Heat, unshowered. Furthermore, both rooms reaked of “wet laundry left for days” as my daughter put it. Lol. We returned back to our room by 2PM on Day2. We tried to ask the maids for towels, but language barriers existed and ended up having to walk across the hotel to the front desk to get an amenity that should have already been provided. We bit our tongues and didn’t say anything - as all we wanted was a good nap to make up from loss sleep the night before. Come 5PM, a maid comes knocking and my underage minor answers the door while I’m asleep, and all the maid tells her is to leave (language barriers). She was confused and tried to explain that we weren’t meant to check out for 2 more nights, and the lady just walks away. 10 minutes later, she comes banging on the door and my kid answers. She’s raising her voice noticeably to wake me up, asking when we were going to leave. So I walk over to the door and there she is on the phone with “Adrian.” She urges me to speak to him, and I’m clearly frustrated - I had just been woken out of my sleep, and they’re asking me all sorts of question. Saying that I’m in the wrong room, and I need to check out. When I explained that we were moved due to a malfunctioning Air Conditioner, I’m still being told that I’m in a room that I’m not checked into. I don’t know what was expected of me - did they want me to go back to my old room? They treated me like I stole their card access and just gave myself an unpaid room… I don’t understand where this was my fault? So I asked for some privacy as this is clearly not the ES I’ve grown to love, and I asked to speak to a manager. Turns out Adrian is a “supervisor” and all they had to offer was a late check out. This happened on a Wednesday and I’m not set to check out until Friday, so I do not see the benefit in this and kindly decline the offer. Even more, my cards were deactivated and when I asked the front desk, I’m once more treated like a stranger - EVERYONE HAD AN ATTITUDE, & I just want some sleep! Ughhh… totally not what I was expecting from an Embassy Suites. I’ve always had good experiences at ES’s and I’ve even stayed here before in the past, but it’s so different. This Embassy is unlike all others, and not in a good way!

Just the Bare Minimum Very disappointed. We usually stay at Embassy Suites when there is one. So we know what to expect. We count on certain level of quality in an Embassy Suite Hotel. This one does not deliver. The breakfast staff was excellent. The food was decent the minimum level you would expect - but no more. Just the absolute bare minimum. The tables were set old the varnish stuck to your sleeves. But the hotel could not be bothered to use table covers. The “happy hour” was not even the bare minimum. There was a plate of vegetables, a bowl of ranch dressing (except when they ran out of the dressing) and several nights there was a bowl of stale potato chips. The wine was awful and the alcohol was terrible as well. This was the worst “happy hour” of any ES we have ever stayed. Housekeeping was spotty. Every day they failed to leave something. We were told they would vacuum after day 4 but they never did. The pool was nice but there were no small tables by the chairs… just the bare minimum. The front desk staff were indifferent and wine young man just ignored you. Just the bare minimum
